Apart from the fact that RIce has 3 Ireland caps for the senior team, being picked by O'Neill and Keane and the fact that Grealish played for the Irish U21s and then subsequently refused to play for the senior team, when asked by O'Neill, you're spot on.

They gave rice a run out in friendlies. They wouldn't trust any youth players in a qualifier game, not even a few mins as a sub. They had numerous chances to play these guys in a meaningful game but pussied out, they displayed such lack of ambition and trust in younger talent. That and many stories of Keane losing his shit with players, young players must have looked at that and rightfully decided to take their chances elsewhere.

Or they knew/were advised that the financial benefits of playing for England are far higher.
Or that or they never had an allegiance to Ireland in the first place and didn't want to fuck up their chances of playing for England.

IIRC it was McCarthy that Rice turned down.

In any case, I'm not that bothered by it.

flying the white flag bringing on winks at 2-0. southgate should be sacked for that alone! i noticed he did try go forward a lot....and lost the ball most times he did. grealish and kane the only two genuine quality england have. can tell when both of them get on the ball theres a sense of quality, the rest are either average or poor.

If you add Sancho, Sterling to Kane and Grealish, there's the basis of a potentially very decent attack. Assuming we had a manager that could actually set up the rest of the team to get the best out of that attack.

Well he isnt abusing the players as such. Unless he has been saying how he wants to fuck winks' mum or wants something bad to happen to our players or manager. Just saying some player is shit on a forum of opinions shouldnt isnt counted as abuse. Would be very babyish if someone felt that way.

Saying such and such players are shit on internet forums is just harmless opinions. Insult on mothers is the most disgusting thing, worse than racism imv. You're showing your true colors by backing his views, says a lot what kind of a human being you are.
