Match Crystal Palace v. Tottenham Hotspur - Sunday, December 13, 2:15 PM GMT

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Lesson learned again happened too many times because of our shit tactics. Maureens tactics always make the oppo look good if you concede possesion like we do. Obviously they upped the intensity but we should see that and do something about it. Everyone watching could see in the 2 nd half, we sat back, passing was crap , hit longs balls they were getting in crosses, winning corners and free kicks. Everyone bar the manager and players! Surely they should see it and do something about it? 1-0 up but we play with no intensity and pace in fact I think were time wasting a lot as well. We need to go for it some times but don’t think Maureen will let the handbrake go. Someone said we needed another striker to get 10 goals. Exactly when do we create any meaningful chances? Even today apart ftom the goal it was either from a corner or free kick any goal scoring situations occurred. Kane and Son basically had scraps to feed off much like against WBA, Burnley and Brighton. Surely as everyone has said we have better players than so should be creating chances? Instead we make them look. Ether than they actually are. Also we play so slow so it’s difficult to pick up tempo. Against pool we need to be on our mettle no stupid passing from the back especially Dier and have to match their intensity. Remember a win and we go top regardless of what they do v Fulham.

I mean yes it absolutely does?

The title, top four can both be won and lost not only by one loss, draw or win but one GOAL.

That doesn't mean we have to melt down since we're still doing very very well, but every point matters.
Well there's a lot of one goals to be had across 38 matches. Dropping points is bad, but there is going to be one goals that go in our favor as well.

Again, it's not the result for me as much as how it played out and how Mourinho managed the match was so utterly predictable.

It shouldn't be a surprise. The difference between us in the 'big' games vs. the smaller ones is night and day.

Big games we're playing football Jose is comfortable with, and executing it pretty well. Low block, eliminate risk, turn it into a bit of a scrap, counter quickly into huge spaces against a destabilised opposition. We've looked a serious and slick operation capable of doing something this season.

Almost all of the other games though are a different story. Games lacking space where you are basically forced to 'do something', be proactive, get on the front foot and go at teams. But basically every game we've lacked ideas, struggled to put some passes together, have a big issue attacking through the middle of the pitch, and constructing decent quality chances and combinations to stress teams and break them down. Then defensively we are in a muddle, not sure whether to commit to dropping deep, little pressure on the ball, and the end result is just being open and giving the opposition encouragement. Burnley, Brighton, West Brom etc. have all gone this way and we've been a bit fortunate in all of them not to have dropped points, even Newcastle and West Ham (freak result as it was), we had a decent start and then did like we do so often, get ahead and then just seem to go into kill the game mode and take zero risk and cling on to what we have.

Against big teams you can stomach the approach and it's effective. Against the smaller ones though it becomes a turgid ordeal and is looking a pretty shaky and uncomfortable approach. We need to find a better balance to what we do in these matches, with and without the ball.

One result doesn't really impact our title or top 4 chances one way or another.

I think the bigger issue is that no one is surprised that the match went like it did today against a side like Palace. That's a much larger concern than two points dropped.
Problem is after being level on points with Liverpool at the start of the day, by Wednesday evening we could be 5 points behind them if we lose up there. That's a big swing in 3 days in a title race

As if it wasn't already it's a massive massive game now

Shame on you for resurrecting that tired old cliché!

When we're 25 points ahead with 10 games to go, and still lose the league, then maybe... but dropping 2 points away from home, mid-season, is NOT bottling.
I swear to God, if I hear that fucking lazy phrase one more time....
But well done 'Tactical Genius' for popping up with that nugget of inspired info!
We failed to capitalize and score a second to secure the match, We bottled the match not our hope for the league title just to clarify 👍🏾

Also those 4 miraculous saves from that bloody keeper lol! Kane's header then, Dier's free kick! He won't have a better game than that.

I think that is a little unfair. The problems came from our transition in the middle of the pitch. Passes were slow and not on target, we lost a number of 50-50’s, and turned over possession far too easily under pressure. Son was particularly absent the second half, but he can’t do much when there is no service.
Yep. If you want the forward line to consistently do something, you have to do more than just punt inaccurate long balls in their general direction and hope something sticks.

But I honestly think Mourinho will be telling the players something very similar. We cannot throw away a lead if we want to win the league. It will be that close.

The league is that tight. Whoever can see out these type of games will probably win it.

Our passing was awful second half. Invited pressure with no real threat from us. He will know where we need to improve. Giving up leads has to end.

It did end for 6 matches but it happened today.

It's frustrating but I don't think it's indicative of a major problem at the club.

Liverpool conceded late equalisers to Everton and Brighton.

It will be amazing if we finally won the league after a 60 year wait but I don't think we'll be in the title race going into the final stages of the season.

It’s ok for Fulham to be all over Liverpool and Liverpool to fluke a late win with a VAR penalty.
For TFC THATS how real champions do it
Totally.

The other top sides have been dropping points in games they should be winning as well yet nobody can see that its just a very tough division this season.

I swear some of our fans aren't happy unless we are shit and they can moan.

Literally our best start to a season in decades
Within touching distance of the top going into the christmas fixtures
Played all bar one of the top 10.
Only one defeat
Best strike partnership in the division
Best defence in the division

And still they moan, anyone would think we were mid table.

A large portion of this fanbase seriously deserve the fuck all trophies we've gotten in the last decade.

Miserable fucks
