He is playing like Ronaldo with the Real but with the Def run :). He don't need to dribble , he just need to do the right call / run in the space in the box .
Exactly, get the ball to Harry/Tanguy and watch for the Son run, get the ball in behind for him to finish. Job done.

Oh, I had the cunt blocked.

Just cos Son has more assists doesn't make him more creative. Or are you really suggesting Son is the better passer out of the two?
I think Kane is the better passer, but the fact Son has more assists in less games shows the gap is not as wide as you perceive it to be.
It also shows your adjective of 'limited' to describe Son is clearly unfair.

It's not even meant to compare Son to Kane. thinks Son is a poor passer/creator but has 50% more assists than a player who he deems to be a top 3 passer in the league. Such a moron haha. He's clearly a fanboy. Anything that Son does well will be deemed a threat so he'll go on and undermine him.

How wide do you think I perceive it to be? I don't think Son is Moura, or Kane is Messi, but clearly one of them can see the game unfold and execute passes better than the other.

It's not slight against Son. Not one bit.

It just means that you make him the final piece of the attack more than a creator, dribbler, passer.

You've called Son limited which I think is absurd.
I also think his dribbling his good, and that's part of the reason he has more assists than Kane... can get past players and so he's in space to make a pass.

Yes, he's generally poor at creating. Like he messed up that blistering counter attack from Sissoko.
Biggest moron on this thread. hahahaha.
What a loser.

Limited doesn't mean useless. How many times do I have to explain that.

He's not a great dribbler, he's not good with his back to goal, he doesn't score many headers, and he doesn't have particularly great vision. Though he can do those things on occasion.

However, he is elite in pace, off the ball movement, finishing and pretty decent at pressing. He's improved his all around game a lot under Mou, but if you have to define Son, it's as a specialist, not an all rouder.

This fanboy is so angry that Son is spoken in the same breath as Kane. He's just making shit up now. LOL

Get out of here and go support Mane/Salah/Sterling.

I love son but Kane’s clearly a better passer. Son has a good cross on him with both feet though he struggles on simple passes from time to time. If you take the most recent Kane cross to son against Leeds, Kane can make that pass far more consistently than son. Son likely gets more opportunities as he is generally in a wider position.

Son has more assists because wingers get more opportunities for assists and Pochs spurs were built for Kane to score. Sons pace gives him many assists as he can blow by a defender and play a simple square pass whereas Kane has much better technique and is a more consistent passer.

It’s a shame you can’t try to have an actual discussion in this thread without fanboys on one side or the other.

Exactly, saying Son has more limitations doesn't mean he's worse. Clearly his pace, and finishing are of such an incredible level that, right now you really couldn't say he's worse.

This past season and a bit he's a better finisher than Kane, that's a kind of praise few players are worthy of.

Anyway, the point of my original post wasn't even to compare Son and Kane. Just saying that you don't want to use them the same way. You wouldn't want Kane to be making the run just as much as you wouldn't want Son with back to goal.

The real tragedy is when either of them move on or retire (I hope they both end their careers with Spurs) it will be the first time that some people realise just how great they were as a partnership. And how lucky we were to have both of them in this team, at this club, at the same time.

His finishing is unbelievable.
