Reguilon offers so much going forward and is an underrated defender. I’m for us keeping bale as long as Madrid doesn’t jump on that buyback.

He’s coming close, he’s going to breakthrough with some big goals for us this year.

Good result and generally decent performance against a rank bad team. Worrying we let them have over 60% possesion in 2nd half which eventually lead to a goal. Where no one pressed the player with the ball. That really has to changed need more energy to keep pressing. May be done earlier subs like lamela who can make himself a nuisance. Some other thoughts dier needs dropping. No other player would get away with his performances. Not just his defending crosses but his constant aimless balls which keep giving them ball away. I’ve said to play Rodin previously and he looked good. Looks strong physically. Play him with Toby and one other in a 3. Tanguy showed his distractors u. Every team especially spurs need a player with some magic. Those who wanted him out for more functional player, Shane! Why has Kane started to think he can dribble like messi now. He holds on to the ball too long and lose the ball. Talking of which we really need to be better with the ball in all areas but especially when attacking. Numerous times we fumbled away great situations. Finishing first need to be more clinical son FH and Kane at the end. I hope the players arnt getting complacent. Top teams are ruthless at both ends of the pitch. Berg needs to improve but against a top 6 team may be play lamela for his more nastiness to help out in midfield. Same team against pool but have Toby for dier and lamela for berg. Really need to press and be in their faces and not stand off. Only way to beat them...

Some people are mystified by Mourinho’s subs but it’s really not that complex. He doesn’t trust most of them. Only Lamela he trusts to play with grit and he is in the doghouse for the COVID breach.

Bale is not hard-working defensively and Lucas can’t pass the ball. If we concede from either of them doing something shite then it’s 3-2 and we’d shit ourselves. Mourinho has a long memory, he will remember when Bale missed that sitter that would have made it 4-2 against West Ham.

Just look at who has hardly played since that West Ham game and you will see who he trusts and who he doesn’t.

"We had good mentality, no negative brain emotions disrupting the flow of our team. We were mentality strong today."

Still lack composure on the ball when just wanting to keep it and build slowly. We hoof it long when under pressure. When we got space to run into we're good but often to get it moving quickly enough. Need more movement. Sheff still had too many chances and possession for my liking. Although we had chances to really hammer them. A better team would give us more problems.

We are still not deadly or nasty enough. We need to kill the thing off and then stamp on the corpse to make sure it’s dead. Goal difference is important and yet we backed off once we had won the game.
That hack at the end by Kane was not typical of him, I believe he knew the game was won and was already winding down and so was just not concentrating enough.

Good results but the issues with ball retention are still there. Too many misplaced passes and unnecessary hoofing imo.

Lacking composure. Sometimes you aren't sitting back or going forward and just need to move well and give options for the pass. We seen to get closed down and then comes the usual hoof or a ambitious pass that gets picked up.
