It takes a season like this to realise there ARE more important things in life to worry about...

Health, Happiness and mental well being are key right now... football isn't the be all and end all... we all know that, it's just in 'normal times' it's easy to forget that it doesn't really matter, and we all get caught up in the seriousness of it all ...but this year, it was supposed to be a mere distraction from the awfulness of the current situation throughout the world.
But if Spurs can't help alleviate any of that right now, then seriously, I'm struggling to see why i'm worrying about them any more.

I'm a Tottenham fan, and always will be, I have loved them throughout my life, and will continue to do so... but right now, they're seriously not helping ANYONE'S mental well being, and the worst of it is... I genuinely don't think they care... they really don't realise the responsibility they have week in week out. I'm not saying we win every game, but at least LOOK LIKE YOU GIVE A FUCKING SHIT about the club you represent, and the club that so many thousands of Spurs fans love, and think about day and night.

As it is... once the final whistle goes, regardless of the result, when they go home through their electric gates to their luxury pads, and count the 200k+ they've stolen this week, I think they're laughing at sad fucks like us who actually let it AFFECT what their performance (or lack of) has done to our week!!

I don't mean to make light of it, and I know it's not the same thing, it's an analogy, but sometimes, I feel that supporting Spurs (and other clubs who do this to their fans I presume) is like being an abused partner who can't get out of the relationship!
I'm trapped... I love, and hate the person who is doing this to me... yet i'll come back to them every time like the soppy cunt I am, and await (and take) further abuse!

fuck you Spurs... seriously, fuck you sometimes*

P.S: *I love you!
Great post mate.

We’re going to smash fuck out of this lot.

Brighton are a fucking bag of shite. We should go all out for a powerful and convincing victory - and some entertainment.

Hugo
Aurier Toby Rodon Davies
Hojbjerg NDombele
Berg/Dele Son Bale
Vinny

I honestly think there will be a massive reaction against Brighton and a big win.
The players know they let themselves down and I feel a more complete game plan coming.

so what qi GIF

The idea that replacing the manager will solve all our issues is naive.

Didn't fix much the last 4 times round, we've still won a total of fuck all

What do you mean it didn't fix much?

The Poch years were great to follow. Redknapp taking us to top 4 for the first time in 20 years was a big step forward for the club.

Yes we didn't win trophies but the team was great to follow and provided a ton of joy for the fans.

Sure changing the manager doesn't mean we are automatically league winners and 5x CL champs but it sure could change the dreadful football we are currently playing and get better use of the players we have.

Dele's first two seasons when he was amazing: 0.67 GA/90
Dele's last 3 seasons where he's been "shit": 0.54 GA/90

He was at 0.60 GA/90 last season. Reports of his demise are greatly exaggerated.
Whatever his decline he's been fucked off out of the squad totally which is an extreme over-reaction and that's directly down to the manager.

You can't just dismiss a player because you think he's a bit lazy in training or whatever bullshit reasons Jose feeds us. That will definitely impact the dressing-room.

When you treat a player like a cunt it doesn't exactly inspire his team-mates to run through brick walls for you.

7-4-7...? ...it wouldn't surprise me if he tries that formation against Chelsea on Thursday!

AURIER - RODON - TANGANGA - SNACHEZ - ALDERWEIRELD - DIER - DAVIES
WINKS - HOJGJBERG - SISSOKO - GEDSON
LAMELA - BALE - NDOMBELE - VINICIUS - SON - BERGWEIGN - MOURA

might work... I've seen crazier formations this season!! If Jose can sneak in the additional 8 players past the FA, we might be in with a shout!
Na we’d still lose

You know that feeling we're all gonna get in the morning, when we wake, up, remember 'last nights' score, and just go; "Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurgggggghmotherfuckerrrrghwankshitfuckcunt!"
Well i'm gonna have that feeling now, to get it out of the way, then wake up brighton early tomorrow, nicely refreshed!

...ready....? altogether now: "Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurgggggghmotherfuckerrrrghwankshitfuckcunt!"
One advantage of being retired, I don't have to face anyone tomorrow! And the calls I have scheduled are with girls who don't give a fig about football :)

No we don't.

We do however need to change the manager at the most opportune moment.

I would do it immediately but recognise that is unlikely but it could get to a position where it's forced if things get much worse.

Lampard got sacked for less.
Lampard was at a club who strive for success & major trophies. Jose isn't.

Sure, that's the conventional wisdom but anyone with any kind of eye for football talent can see that there is a pile of player in this team that is not good enough. Many should have been moved on previously. No reason to kick the can further down the road on some of them. If you tell me Nagelsmann (we ain't getting Nagelsmann) I can already tell you who would and would not be a fit.

There needs to be churn in this team and it should have happened in the last 2-3 years while we had a coach with an identified way of playing...before he had to alter that style to accommodate the shitty players in the squad. Sorry you have a love affair with some but they need to be moved on.

Levy's bullshit move is leaving a player clogging the works and saying we've got to sell to buy. Well everyone can see that Sissoko can be moved as well as Davies, Sanchez, Lamela, etc etc etc etc etc etc. No need to wait for a manager to come as few with CL demands will want those players. Install a DOF and let that person choose a manager...but also the players. Get younger, get better...and get Levy the fuck away from football decisions.
Sure the players you've mentioned, except for Sissoko are fringe players anyway, that's a no brainer. But good managers elevate players and galvanize squads and have them playing better than the sum of their parts. This is more important than the ability of the individual, look at every great team and there is a Henderson, Urwin, Dier, Vidal and Mascherano etc

I also agree about getting Levy away, I think he does too that's why he hired Birch. The DoF thing has legs but carries with it just as much risk as hiring a new manager, especially if the power is owning the philosophy of play, get the wrong man in and you get a double whammy of the wrong manger too. It's why I'm warming more and more to the idea of Rangnick coming in as he's someone who proven in both fields and maybe he's up for management and then owning the philosophy as DoF later on (if he succeeds as a manager).

Unfortunately, we have now wasted at least two years with dino.

I hope levy has the interview taped and any presentations Jose may have done where his stated his changed and has now become a revolutionary coach. Levy would then have grounds to sack him for falsehoods and luring to get the job😀

We love them but hate what they do to us.

Poch was easily successful... highest 3 league finishes in EPL... furthest champions league run... consistent top 4....

Id rather make a ucl final than win a carapoo cup
He won nothing he was unsuccessful, the end.

I'm bored with having this conversation, and I'm bored with pretending a managerial change will save us.

Change needs to happen at every section of this club a tweak here and there hasn't worked.
