Management Where do we go from here?

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It sounds better. It also sounds like a pipe dream.

This team, who has a turn-up ratio of 1:3 with this manager and who couldn't turn up in a NLD.

Forgive me for not quite believing.
The culture of the club for the last 30 years is exactly what was on show in the game yesterday.
1 league away win at Woolwich and the same record at Chelsea in that time just shows the gutless teams that have been built by many different managers in that period.
Time after time the attitude of the team shows that they don't give a toss and have no professional pride.

Great point.

Which is why "let's go for the next cup / transferwindow / batch of youngsters" is kind of wearing on me, personally.

Maybe the answer is to just enjoy the good games and sod the crap ones. Take an old school approach and don't get too wound up on social media. Have a good day out on match day when the stadium and pubs open again. Have a laugh when we win. Take the piss when we lose, like we used to, and stop fretting over all this top 4 stuff until the alchemy required to achieve it is discovered once again.

It's all artery squeezing toxic junk otherwise.

New owners with a fuck ton of money and buy the fucking league, seems the only way to do it nowadays
That will bring its own set of complications.

And if the entitlement from Spurs fans is bad now it will be even more insufferable then. One loss and the banners will unfurl.

Nobody but Levy knows what the plans are for the future but I personally can't see anything changing for the foreseeable future. Owning a top football club is a status symbol rather than sound fiscal investment. Sadly Levy doesn't see it that way.

Haha I completely agree, I just wish we could get back into the ground watching the game. Going to the games with my mates, few beers. Watching the dross on TV is so dull compared to being pissed up with your mates watching it live in the ground. Theres been so many games where that attitude has got me through some of the rubbish served up 😆

I’d like to enjoy more than 10 percent of games.

Let's be honest, the football is terrible.

Other teams find it perfectly easy to play attacking football.

We don't. We just want to move the ball forward with 4-5 touches and bam, a finish. Or pissing it away.

Then onwards to another 12 minutes in our own half.

It always makes me laugh or despair when people think we are so brilliant one day and in need of radical surgery the next.

My concern about the Mourinho tenure more than Mourinho himself is that he is going to leave us with nothing to build on.

I have not thought we were "Brilliant" all season. I include the victory over city and United and Woolwich if people can not see that we are a poorly coached side...well I don't know what they are watching. In transition, patterns of play, ball retention ..sorry but we pretty much suck. Kane Son and Bale picking up a ball Moura loses on the edge of the box after another headless charge and smashing one in, getting on the end of a Toby Dier punt...that folks is non league plan.
