But... you're right that he hasn't got a glittering record of trophies. He hasn't managed a top-N team, either, though (i.e. a team in or around the top of their tier) other than Leeds, who he's done very well with.

He has had shots a big-ish teams Lille, Lazio, Marseille but doesn't last because he can't work with people above him. He is a bad fit at bigger clubs because he is only willing to do things his way and is a prick to those above him.

I also think his style and the way his teams lose would be killer at a big club. At Leeds it doesn't matter because getting 10th is fine so giving up 4 goals because of defensive indifference is fine but doing that repeatedly for a team that wants to finish top 4 would not be the same.

I've watched a fair bit of Leeds and they are operating on a very limited budget and have done fantastic the last few seasons. Redknapp was hardly a proven winner but he was a good fit for our club and gave us some brilliant years.

We just bought in the biggest 'winner' in world football over the last 15 years and look where that's got us.
 
I think jose will be with us next season with his players. Heard jerome boateng is joining us on a free from bayern. Think skirinar from inter will happen and vestergaard from saints. He wants to shore up defence obviously. Aurier, davies, toby, dier doherty, rose will go imo. Wouldnt surprise me rodon went on loan to another premier league club. Would like perreira from leicester as right back. Might happen with portuguese connections.

It's far from the first time I've seen that this season. It's Sunday League levels of commitment.

I know I'm repeating myself but that is the reason I'm done watching us this season. I can abide by a shit team full of shit players, getting beat every week if they're giving it their all but some of these are an absolute embarrassment.

I’m almost jealous of you if you’re still angry, I’ve reached the point where I just don’t feel anything anymore.
I was annoyed seeing Dier in the starting line up, but hoped for the best. When we went a goal up my first thought was that we’d probably drop points, and when Sissoko came on I lost all interest in the game because I knew that we were no longer trying to win.
By the end of the match I felt nothing; not sadness, anger or disappointment as the game went exactly as I expected it to.
I was José in at the start of the season, but I’m definitely José out now, and sooner rather than later. I’m not even excited for the cup final any more.

If that is really the case with Boateng I suspect Son will be part of the deal.
 
I really cant stand roy keane. And yesterday it escalated. Slagging us off sitting in our ground and just arrogantly touting kane joining united. What a wanker and so disrespecful. Fair play to redknapp having a pop back. I doubted redknapp on us but i think his dad harry has good memories of us and says good things. Hope one day redknapp says to him you were shit manager roy and an aggressive bully.

I think the rate of renewals will be an indicator more than the total amount. There are also a certain % of cancellations every year, so if that's higher than normal it might be a bit of a warning.

The club is bigger than any one man and I would not presume to tell people, especially season ticket holders, how to spend their money or support the club.

Keane just seems to be taking cheap shots at us all the time
FairPlay to Jamie Redknapp the past couple of occasions for showing him up for the muppet he is.
