I hate almost everything about this tournament and have mentioned before how corrupt the bidding process was, how many people have died in the needless construction, how ridiculous it is that the entire football calendar is changing... etc...
One thing that I do think is "good" about the tournament is how close the stadiums are. It really is unique, to me it looks like the furthest away stadiums will be 50 minutes taxi away. The ones in Doha are walkable (although not sure how many people walk anywhere over there). As a set up I think that's potentially brilliant for fans and it will contrast massively with this Euros (which I think was generally not a fair and won't be repeated) and the next WC which will stretch from Mexico to Canada.
