Positives for me were the performance of Romero, who nullified Lukaku, and Casino Royale, who got better and more assured as the game went on.
Dier was also pretty solid although both let Silva get his header in for the first.
Hojberg was solid as ever and was supported by an animated and active Deli.
Son was also very active and our best threat, although often ignored for runs he started to make, only to have his energy wasted

Glad you found so many positives. Here's my take.

Romero was lucky the couple of times he lost Havertz and looks a bit slow in possession, that said, there is still hope for him.

Royal lost Alonso many times and likes going to ground too much.

Hojberg's hero worship gets more and more bizarre. Fucked up two simple passes to put players through on goals, his reaction for the 2nd goal was utterly laughable.

Dier, mixed bag, once Lukaku got going he made a fool of Dier.

Son and Dele ran about a bit, contributed next to nothing.

The rest were far worse.

Have to say werner is shit. Didnt even test their keeper whos shit. Easiest game hes ever played. I do have doubts as well hoijberg is a top 4 player. Midfield needs upgrading...fast.

Just finished a lovely pizza and sitting on the steps of the Market Place.
My opinion of the game was we had an excellent first half, probably the best we've played in a long time. However, I just knew that we would run out of steam in the second half. There's no getting away from it, and it pains me to say it, the chavs have got a terrific team and an excellent manager, and I can't see anyone bettering them in the league
My highlights were seeing Stevie before the game and at half time (was he a little drunk?), seeing Paul Coyte getting emotional at the reception he got from the fans, and Emerson giving me a thumbs up, when I called out his name - yes, I am THAT close.
Wasn't expecting much from this game, so we need to regroup and move on. That first half should give the players some confidence for the next games.

The Greaves tribute and seeing Paul Coyte was the best thing of the day.

The 1st half showed there is some hope with this team. But that's the slim hope.

Everything else is awful. Poor players. Lack of attacking etc.

First half we pressed well and played with energy but Chelsea were pretty poor. Once they settled and our energy levels inevitably dipped there was only one team in it. I don't see a lot of hope at all. Though we won't play better sides than them every week at least.

Overall ratings, in my opinion - (just for shits and giggles)

Lloris 6 - Not at fault for any of the goals. Feel sorry for the bloke.

Royal 6 - Not bad but far from great. Too early to judge but can't see him being an upgrade on Aurier. Being better than Doherty is the easiest accomplishment in humanity.

Dier 5 - Thought had had a decent first half but then was all over the place. Lucky to still be at the club.

Romero 6 - Average at best. Probably wonders what he's got himself into.

Reguilon 5 - Can run all day but his quality leaves a lot to be desired. Has been average for a while now.

Hogbjerg 6 - Played well first half. Much less so in the second. Far from our biggest problem.

Lo Celso 4 - Crap. Over-rated player that doesn't get half the stick he deserves at times. Only thing I remember from him is a shot that went out for a throw. Fucktard.

Ndombele 6 - Very good first 25 minutes, then went AWOL as usual like Van fucking Damme. Still a fatty bum-bum.

Alli 4 - Offered absolutely nothing. No creativity. No goal threat. This was Alli's Brother from another Mother, the one that probably prefers dogging to football.

Son 5 - Poor. Awful touch wasted our best chance. Plenty of effort but no quality today. Deserves better than this team but today he was crap.

Kane 5 - No service whatsoever again but clearly looks half arsed. He's given up. He needs to go, for our sake and his.

Can't be arsed rate the subs as none of them made any positive difference.
