Match EFL Cup - Wolves vs Tottenham - Wed, Sep 22 19:45 BST

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If we lose this and then the NLD, will there be any point following for the rest of the season?

Probably not, the transfer window and managerial appointment only makes sense if we are building for next season. Bryan Gil, Scarlett, Sarr to come in next season plus no replacements for Bale or Vinnie.

Either we have an agreement for Poch to return or we are just fucking nuts. If it’s the first then the club have written off the season and we will finish where we finish and go out of the cups probably, if it’s the latter then god help us.

And yet we beat Man City?

It's only a short amount of time so could just be a blip, but looking at the matches played it seems like we are regressing rather than progressing.
We caught Man City when they were disorganised due to the Euros etc...

We had another international break since then, lots of injuries. etc etc

My point is though Nuno hasn't had many weeks to train with the full team since his late appointment and then the Euros, then the WC matches, then the quarantine ....

All depends on how serious Wolves take this game, we always talk about how our squad should rotate for games like these but the other team will do the same I’m sure…
Best 11’s out there it’s a 50/50 game, both teams make changes Wolves edge it 60/40….

Fucking hell, that's optimistic! I wouldn't be surprised if they did that and we went strong, to see us huff and puff, achieve fuck all, and lose to a sucker punch.

Would just cement the fact even our stronger line up is bang average.

Man City missed enough chances in the first 20 minutes to win 3 matches against us.

V Chelsea

Levy says to Paratici ''don't forget the attractive free flowing attacking football''

Paratici says to Nuno ''don't forget the attractive free flowing attacking football''

Nuno says to players ''come on let's have a go for the first 45'' knowing full well fitness is a issue.

Ally Gold's prediction: Gollini; Tanganga, Sanchez, Romero, Davies; Ndombele, Skipp, Hojbjerg; Lo Celso, Kane, Son.

Strong team prediction. Davies against Traore should be fun...

Kane, Son, Skipp, Hjobjerg???

I know it is just a journalist prediction but if those guys play I guess we just are ignoring the past and thinking this time overplaying players won’t come back to bite us in the ass.

Anyone actually bothered or excited about this ? I couldn’t give a fuck. Spurs have drained the life out of me.
Excited? No
Bothered? Yes
Drained by the whole thing? Also yes.

Basically I give a fuck because I want us badly to win and will never not want that…but I have zero excitement or expectation.

Well actually that’s a lie. I do have an expectation. I expect us to lose comfortably.
