We look more solid defensively although I think Skipp, Romero and Emerson help that but in attack my god we look crap.
Two defensive midfielders who sit deep and offer very, very little going forward and a plethora of backwards and sideways passing does not mean improvement.

We play like a non-league team in the 3rd round of the FA Cup against the EPL champions

I'd agree Pochs Spurs were iffy at the start, the 10th game was the win at Villa, 11th we lost to Stoke at home and then it turned, we lost 1 of the next 9 and that was away to Chelsea. Difference is we were average and inconsistant but i dont remember us being boring. I dont remember us going 100 mins without a shot on target. Plus Pochs time at Southampton and what he did for some journeyman players gave you encouragement. If anyone thinks Nuno is going to turn it round massively in the next 2,3 or 4 games then good luck to you.

I think most of us know by now the Poch comparisons are bogus, just because another manager had a hard start doesn't mean Nuno is going to end up having us well coached. The atmosphere was entirely different with Poch, he came in and ripped the team up and very clearly was implementing a style the fans connected with. That meant some bad results at first but the signs were there.

There's been no signs with Nuno. Even at best if he makes us a 'Nuno team' (shudder) most of our fanbase will reject it the same as Wolves fans did, because it's soulless football. And you don't even get trophies to help swallow the shit football pill, because he's fundamentally not good enough for that.

Completely disagree there was something there with Poch even early on and he had to deal with a lot of players that needed to be moved on. Poch got his final team to start to buy into his vision by this stage, Nuno has none.

This is completely untrue lol we were losing matches and still being completely inconsistent in November, we played Stoke at home and lost 2-1 and stunk the joint out, we lost at home to Newcastle and scraped past Villa (that was when Kane scored that deflected free kick)

And just like then we are at a rebuilding process, Poch got rid of the malcontents and took him 3 transfer windows for the team to start being consistent in their performances, you're not even go a give Nuno 2 haha

How are you struggling with the difference between a vision and results? We had some bad results under Pochettino but the team was receptive to his ideas and you could see what he was doing. The football wasn't miserable to watch at all, I distinctly remember not being depressed every time Spurs played football under Poch, can't say the same for whatever the fuck we're doing under Nuno.

This guy doesn't deserve our time. Go look at his fucking career and find me evidence that he does. If he's too shit and boring for Wolves, why the hell would we want to give him multiple transfers windows to shape Spurs?

Barcelona will be in the market for a coach who plays good football and can work to improve players soon.
Hopefully they're dumb and get Xavi and ignore the decent coaches we should be looking at.

We beat West Ham away.
We drew with Woolwich away.
We beat QPR at home by 4

In fact, even in the early days. Poch understood what a Derby was and we didn't get beat very often. We showed up and fought even when we lost.
Now fucking look at us. Bunch of bitches that get owned by shit like Palace and West Ham.

Levy has no shame that is why after 21 years the club is still not in a position to do anything that is progress for you.
Guess who's going to be our next manager. A present from the football gods to Levy. Sacked, out of work. No outrageous fees up front. And clearly the wrong person for us. So we'll get him. That's what is really in our DNA.. "cheap and available"...CAA, not DNA.

Complete and utter revisionism I'm afraid

QPR finished bottom of the league and West Ham back then aren't the team they are now, that Woolwich match had us sitting in our own box scared to play.

Ironic you say that because I seem to remember Poch resting players in the League Cup and Woolwich turned us over at WHL, you seemed to have forgotten about that though.

I don't see much of a difference if you compare then till now, no need to try and re-write history.

Karen gets it.
Exactly how most on here feel apart from the excuses for kane. Most players from the euros have just on with it so why not ksne and fick the transfer saga. If he wants to pick up £300k/wk then he needs to earn it and show his moral fibre not sulk like a 5 yr old. Rest of her synopsis is spot on!

ENIC DNA might be cheap and available, Spurs is Bill Nic expansive progressive football. We should never forget that, and the fans should always demand it.
