I’ve only started to follow the club around the first years of Harry, like 2009/10. So I just wanted to say that he is by far the worst I saw mate. But I can easily believe you
I miss those Harry Redknapp years. As for worst manager, difficult to say but nearly all the worst ones are of the same type Neill, Graham, Santini, AVB, Mourinho, Nuno. Why we appoint negative managers i'll never know because it just doesn't work at this club and never will.

We could get in Pep Guardiola and it wouldn’t matter because he’d still have to work under Enic.
You’re all barking up the wrong tree. Nuno, Potter, Klopp, Poch…they’d all fail because we simply don’t have the ambition or owners to bring success.
I’ve been a big supporter of Levy and the owners and have vehemently defended them at various places.
But even I’ve turned now. Until this club gets sold to a group or individual who wants success on the pitch then it doesn’t make an iota of difference who the manager is.
Well said, sir

In 21 years we've been through every brand of manager on the market.

Club legends like Hoddle. Up and coming talents like Pochettino. Big PL experience like Redknapp. Left field choices like AVB. Serial trophy winners like Mourinho .

If the penny still hasn't dropped for some that our underlying problem isn't, actually, the manager then I'm afraid it never will.

Few more interviews like this and I could start to like Nuno.

Its obvious that some of the players are complete babies who don't want to put in the hard work to help the team. Start calling them out and telling the squad to collectively pull up their socks.

Everyone is down or our squad at the moment, but if the talent we have already, started to play at 100 percent then we'd be 10 times better than we have been.

Eject the wasters to the youth team as its obvious they're not contributing.

That complaining in public led to the same players giving up on JoMo. Not gonna work. They need to be deregistered and stripped of their shirt numbers.

Talk is cheap. For years under multiple managers we have heard grumblings about players attitudes.

We have seen it with our eyes on the pitch.

If they are not committed make them train with the U23s. I'm sure Nuno would like to do that with some of them but Levy is too scared of their value dropping to allow it.

Probably still thinks he can get 20m for Dele and Winks.

So we are left with a poisonous dressing room which breeds mediocrity.

What a mess. I agree with nuno, too many of our squad have been coasting and should have been moved on, but nunos on thin ice when he continues to play a player up front who has no commitment or hunger.
Anyway, as others have written, our issues stem from the leadership of the club, until that changes very little else will

But it’s obvious he’s calling out Winks and Dele. Quite a good move by him actually. Omitting them and then issuing this vague statement, which isn’t actually vague at all and leaves little to no doubt the players he’s talking about.

If the rest of the squad also have a problem with those two, then it could have the opposite effect with any luck.

100000%

Conte confirmed during his negotiations Levy told him winning trophies is not a requirement - just making profit. Ambition of a dead squirrel. Disgraceful from top to bottom

To be fair to Nuno all our managers are hamstrung by the boards unrealstic transfer fees. So Poch wanted a painful rebuild and we couldn't sell a player, Mourino wanted shot of Alli and Ndombele and Levy fought tooth and nail to keep them, now we want to shift a load again but you know he'll want £40m+ for Alli and probably not much less for Winks and they'll continue to stink the place up.

Mentioned it in the other thread…..it won’t get the attention it deserves because it’s directly aimed at Kane, and people know this.

Already saw the bbc try and steer it towards Dele and Winks and not once mention Golden Boy.
I highly doubt Nuno thinks our predicament is because of two benchwarmers

I saw that....... They cut footage of Dele and Winks over the top of Nuno's interview when he was talking about lack of commitment.

Kane should have been in that montage as well...... And Ndombele.

It’s appalling “journalism”, and unfortunately the not very bright will now just get more angry at Winks and Dele, despite neither being actually part of our regular shit performances

Ndombele in this moment is playing with much more intensity than Kane, Dele and Winks.

Really this is just the same stuff we heard from Hugo after Zagreb away last season. Too many players thinking about themselves instead of thinking about the team. If Dele wants to play more he has to come to training every day and show that he is better than Ndombele. Do it every single day. Then if you get a chance to play, you show on the pitch that you are better than the others in your position. That is how you get into the first XI. When you have players who have fallen down the pecking order and given up, it is very bad for the team. That's what Nuno is talking about.

Everyone has to be pulling in the same direction, focused on working as hard as possible and being ready to help Tottenham when called upon. Not thinking about their next club, thinking about the CL final we lost, thinking about their last England cap, thinking how crap the Europa League music is, etc. When you have a squad that is all together, you get nights like Ajax away. Players ready to die for the result. When you have a squad that is not together, you get shite like Zagreb or Vitesse away. Players who aren't bothered about winning the match.

The issue with Kane is that there are no rivals for his position. Nuno is not brave enough to drop him because to lose a match with him on the bench would be professional suicide for a nobody like him. You have to be a big manager to do that and he isn't.

Penny wise pound foolish. That sums up nearly all our boards errors.

Could be a different interview but I remember hearing him talk about players needing to prove they deserve to be in the first team during training and that they weren't doing it.

This would lean towards the Winks and Dele's rather than Kane.

There’s only been 3 real changes to the XI this year;

N’Dombele for Dele

Romero for Sanchez

Kane for Bergwijn

We’ve been largely terrible regardless of whoever Nuno has put out.

Regardless off the restrictions placed by the ownership, some have been better than others. Some make you look forward to watching Spurs. That’s all I’m asking for right now.

He was literally asked in the press conference about Dele and Winks and responded with these quotes. So that’s who he is talking about (and presumably others as well).
