Our problems started when we deluded ourselves to think we had some world class team under Poch. I always said that we were playing above our level with limited players. We should have sold those players when they were at their peak profile and reinvested in young talent.
Levy is overrated as a businessman, he allowed lots of assets to stagnate and lose their value, and now we have to start from scratch, rebuild this crumbling mess. It's going to take years of shrewd business and plenty of luck to get back to anything like that level.
