And again, it wouldn't have been too much of an ask to get somebody who would have been a more capable contributor than Sissoko/Winks, which is all we were left with.

Fuck, even an Amrabat would have been some use at that point!

To be fair to Levy I think he simply operates in Lewis’s model, ie no investment whatsoever. I blame Levy for many decisions such as the farce of a manager search in the summer.

Ultimately however Lewis not Levy or Paratici decides if he will invest or dilute his shares for capital increase or even allow the club to borrow with his standing as collateral. Far as I am aware only the Glazers in the prem have invested less and that is because they loaded the club with debt. We have £450m to spend under FFP way more than any other club, and it will probably grow.

Lewis bought the club for peanuts it’s now worth given the size of fanbase, TV revenue increase and the stadium probably 2-2.5bn. He has made a bomb off of it with little to no work or support.

But Paratici did sign off on Royal, Gollini and Gil. None of which look good enough to play for us in the here and now. Some Gil fans will argue that he is young and might come good. But the point is last summer we lost Bale and Lamela. We needed to replace those players with quality not players that may come good in a few years.

This is my issue with Paratici, what signings he has put his name too so far are pretty pathetic.

No one is going to buy this club for which the owners will want an obscene amount. Its like we are stuck in an unhappy marraige with enic/levy/lewis. Till death do us part. I am younger than both those cunts and in decent health. So maybe theres hope to see us win something after they pop.

It's so annoying when we look back and Poch was still successful under these conditions. Fans actually give ENIC too much leeway, they had a back post tap in ready and instead decided not to pull the trigger. 100/120m well spent at that time leads to a title, I'm sure of it.

We won't get another opportunity as good as that for god knows how long, and they fucked it.
