I finished that survey,
and told them clearly and politely what I thought - for example that the meaning of words changes according to context, and that people being offended by words because
they fail to understand the context is unfortunate, but can't practically become a way to run society or no one will be able to say anything.
I gave the (albeit somewhat flippant) example on an earlier page (not in the survey obviously!) - if my dad suffered so badly from claustrophobia that it caused him to take his own life, could I go to Anfield and insist that "You'll Never Walk Alone" is banned because it offends me,
irrespective of the context in which it is being sung? Why is it different? Is there a minimum number of people that (allegedly) need to be impacted / offended before it 'matters'? What is that number?
And btw this isn't just about 'that word', it's about a cultural shift in everything we are allowed to do and say. Personally I fear for the future of the world, and am so damn thankful that I don't (and won't ever) have any kids.
