Where did you get £35m from?

I said £60m is too much. He's more of a £45m player, which I believe is about 5 more than what Liverpool paid for Jota. £45m +£10m would be expesive but acceptable.

He'll have to really develop as a player to justify this price.

I mentioned Winks, cos if we sell him to Everton at a slightly inflated price it "recovers" a bit of that overpay.

Shithousery is winding the opposition up. Little digs, nudges, comments, drawing actual fouls often in the act of fouling them etc.
Laying on the floor with your hands over your eyes isn't shithousery. It's pathetic. He will get absolute berated by team mates and home fans if he does it.

Yeah, it's around £10m more than I'd be spending. But if you want to go for a similar profile, you're looking at close to £40m for the likes of a Cody Gakpo unproven in the league.

I'm optimistic that Richarlison can kick on a bit and improve his game under Conte, Everton has been a woeful place to play these last few years.

I do hope he tones that down, but regardless, it does wind up the opposition.

Romero was getting a yellow every game until Conte had a word and he sorted himself out.

Oh I see. I read your comment as, if we got 20m for winks then we’d have overplayed by 5m = 35m.

I’m not bothered by it. I don’t need us to overpay all the time like some of the shrills but 50-60m is not ridiculous for premier league proven player who is brazils #9 in a season where we will need serious rotation. His versatility is gold.
