I think the suggestion is that it may have influenced the jury. Which they'll struggle to prove.
They would need to prove influence for a mistrial.
In terms of him being in contempt of court, they would just need to prove he attempted to influence, which is a basic question of fact. Hence his speedy attempt to claim it was about the Glazers.
