The shit the Tories say and do is extremely distasteful... seem to even take pleasure in making people suffer. However, to me it seems a bit bigotted to expect immigrants to have a pro-immigration stance. Are we not allowed to have a full spectrum of political views? Just question them on their policies, not on their heritage.
At the end of the day, we are merely an island off the coast of Europe, we already have nearly 70m people, we have no choice but to turn away a lot of desperate and unfortunate people no matter what our immigration policy is.
