It’s going to be Hassenhutl on the 1st of July, isn’t it?

Work Hard Reality Show GIF by NETFLIX
It would be fun. We would be amazing a game and terrible the other while scoring and leaking a lot of goals. Bielsa light

Oh well It will be Poch, Enrique or Potter in the summer. There is too much time between now and then for some other club to get Nagelsmann. If it were going to happen for us it had to happen now.

So it's completely impossible that we sign him in a week or so? ...........The bloke himself only found out he got canned a day or two ago.... By twitter.

Cant believe Nagelsmann is available, right as we look likely to embark on a rebuild. I think he's a great young coach that'd be a great fit for us, and he'd surely get us back to playing exciting attacking football again.

Hopefully Levy recognizes this opportunity and takes hold of it with both hands.

It's the fresh start the club wanted and needed after the Jose experiment didn't work....... Unfortunately Bayern came knocking before we could nail it down.

We'll find a way to turn him to mush!

Compared to two years ago we're in a better place as far as managers coming in are concerned, at least we have a few viable realistic candidates that can come in, I don't think the manager search will be as extensive and drawn out as it was in 2021.

Stellini and Mason to the end of the season strongly suggests IMO that Nagelsmann will come on the condition they deliver top four. And the board believe seeing the season out without Conte gives us a better chance of that than keeping him in his post. If they can't then we move onto Poch and anyone below him in the preference order.

Not wishful at all. That’s the absolute minimum we should expect from our board.

Chavs, Madrid and PSG all likely be looking this Summer. Get the pre-contract down now.

Chop chop.

It's wishful cos these guy are allowed to have their own thoughts and desires....... If he says he's keen but wants to wait until the summer we have two choices:

1. Wait
2. Shoot for someone else in the meantime.

I personally like the 'kidnap and fake his signature' method as an option; but I suspect it's got some fundamental pitfalls.

Nagelsmann can shampoo my balls if he demands Top 4 to join.

He’s about nine fucking years old. A manager that wants patience from a club should extend it in return.

I'd like to share your optimism but 2021 wasn't all that different to our current state. We could've more heavily pursued Ten Hag or Potter back then, both which would've been a better fit than Conte.

Overall our squad is probably in a better place, but we still have some gaping holes that we somehow didn't manage to fill over the last 2 years

Really don’t know how to feel about Stellini and Mason til the end of the season.

Will that give us the proper clean break, “new manager bounce” effect til the end of the season? Very hard to know.

Either way, I’m sorry to see Conte go. I know he had to go but it’s just sad to see another top class coach come and go in such shitty circumstances with absolutely zero to show for it.

Ah well, here’s to the future and yet another fresh start/new “project” under ENIC.
