Dier's final ratings across 39 games this season is 5.83. A big drop off over his last 8 or 9 games when we know he was playing injured. His ratings earlier in the season were easily on a par with previous seasons which were ....

6.10
6.65
and this season 5.83

5.83 is not acceptable but should allowances be made for his injury ?

Lloris ratings across 30 games is 5.81.

After 19 games he averaged 6.29 which is normal for him.
The last 11 games he averaged 4.98.

So last 3 seasons
6.22
6.45
5.81

My ratings v Leeds.

Forster....4
Royal.......5
Sanchez..6
Lenglet...6
Porro.......7
Davies.....6
Bissoum..6.5
Skipp.........5.5
Kulusevs..5

Once again no player gets anywhere near the magic 7 for the season. Its never been done in 4 seasons now.

Kane streets ahead of anyone else and the gap between him and Hojbjerg in second is huge.

So Kulusevsk is joint second with Hojberg? And Davies, Lenglet and them were better than Emerson?
And Son was the worst? worse than Kulu, Dier, Lloris, Perisic, Richarlsion?

What a mess these ratings are.

Kulu is third because he played less games.
Remember how bad Royal was first half of the season? That's why his rating is perhaps lower than perception suggests. I can do a split between first and second halves of the season if you are interested .
Son was very poor thus season so no surprise where he is.
Generally the ratings were poor compared to last season except for Kane. That's no surprise and our league position tells the story.
Hope that goes some way to explaining and thanks for the input.

Only the first 3 in the main table come out of this with any worth. But 6.19 is below the desired level. So just Kane from the main table. We probably could have deduced that without any ratings but it's been a rough season. Compare the table to the start of the thread for the drop in level.
