Except the "waving our shoes" comment...

...what total and utter bollocks! ...they make it sound like it was some form of protest!! Nothing of the sort, we held our shoes up in the air, we were in the East Upper... AVB (and the entire West Stand for that matter!) happened to be opposite... that's just the way the stadium has been designed!
...it's hardly an angry mob outside the West Stand gates demanding Christian Gross be sacked!!

I did say almost...

For a while I've been debating the merits of velcro shoes, and whether to invest in a pair on my next trip to the purveyors of fine footwear. Should I ever go to an 1882 gig, I may take the plunge. But being rather old it might still take far too long to get my shoe back on again. I may instead take a plastic replica shoe and secrete it about my person, far from the eyes of prying stewards and wave it with gay abandon, whilst still with the comfort of fully shod feet beneath my unsteady frame.

Oh and once again, 1882, you are truly fantastic, the best thing to happen to Spurs since we signed Hugo Da Boss. Maybe even better than that! And that's BETTER!!!!! Whooh!

May I say how marvelous it is to see someone mastering the unique concept of the English language. It really is something to behold. I tip my cap to you old bean. Absolute chipper.

That's almost as good as my shot...

I'm the bloke in white right at your bottom right of J in this picture, holding my shoe, desperately trying to galvanise that area of the stand after the stewards came along and decimated those willing to stand and sing.

In fact, that picture was taken seconds before I was threatened with ejection from the ground for standing up. You can see the steward homing in on us along the aisle!

So so proud of Everyone who attended this and the more I read about it the more gutted I am that I wasn't there.
Re: the article above, even though the journalist isn't aware last night would have happened no matte what, it actually does our manager a favour as it makes his call to arms look like a good move. And I'm quite happy about that. Can't wait to hear the podcast tomorrow following this. I'm sure a few sore throats will be on show!
