....and I noticed the OS put last night's final score as 10-9...
they've simply added the penalties to the 2-2 scoreline, and come up with that!
UNBELIEVABLE!

We get no pens for an entire season, now we can't even keep COUNT of all the ones we're getting this season!
I think the first 3 last night were STONEWALL PENS, but the ref was clearly influenced by the crowd to give the other 12!!

May I say how marvelous it is to see someone mastering the unique concept of the English language. It really is something to behold. I tip my cap to you old bean. Absolute chipper.
Why thank you very much, kind sir. And indeed felicitations to all that have been generous enough to allocate me approbation points on this thread.

My normal sartorial mode is accurately reflected in the video attached, showing the Spurs supporters that I grew up admiring as an impressionable lad in the 1950s and early 60s. Those were the days indeed.

Incidentally, why are they teaching the 'art of fisting' on the front page of You Tube today.

As a responsible adult I find this most disconcerting, and may well send a telegram to the Daily Mail regarding this outrage, which clearly has its roots in America. I vividly remember the infamous 'rock'n'roll cinema riots' when Bill Haley brought his notorious Comets to our fair shores ....

To be continued after my nap

Definite improvement on the atmosphere front. As for the game, the first 25 minutes was the most onesided game ive seen for a long long time. We had so much possession it was unreal. Then it went down hill somewhat. I for one am getting concerned with Lamela, he had his head down and didn't look like he wanted to be there.
He badly needs a good game and a goal.
Let him play against Spam and hopefully he will rip them apart. We owe them badly and what a time to put in a match winning performance.

Unless Lamela has upped his game massively by West Ham no way do I want him starting that night.

That game will mean so much to me and many fans on both sides. I doubt there'll be a game all season I'd want to win more than that one. I want Hugo in goal and a top top team out that night all round. It's on a Wednesday between IIRC two Sunday games. We need to go all out and then some. I think the UEFA game the week before should be a formality, by all means play Lamela, Brad, whoever then,

Me too, I hate Spam with a passion. I still haven't gotten over the embarrassment we suffered 3 weeks or so ago.
I was praying we got them in the cup so we could right the massive wrong.
We know Lamela has it in his game to murder any team, he's yet to show it but what i'm getting at is, as this game is so important, it's a chance for the lad to prove what he can do. If he were to rip them apart he would be a hero.

agree there but I thought last night was his best game for us. Looked a lot more confident on the ball and showed plenty of glimpses of what he can do.

Hats off to all of you last night, you could see the difference the singing made to the players and even got the kids to put down their I.Pad's for a couple of hours and join in. After Brad's goal it would have been all to easy to call for his head and J.D's misses gave us a few scares but the crowd stayed behind them. If this had happened a couple of weeks ago we wouldn't have won and half the crowd would have probably walked out when Hull scored. We all want to see more goals and creativity but we aren't going to get it with all that negative s**t so let's 'Carry on Singing' and playing our part. "Bradley, Bradley give us a save, Bradley, give us a save".
Top match.

I still think Lamela had a solid match strictly speaking. Always asking for the ball, getting rid of it quickly if he knew he couldn't beat the man in front of him. Some of his runs were poor but its hard to beat the winger, full back and center back all on your own. I am so tired of these teams parking the bus. The media blame us for playing boring football when in reality its our opposition. Best league game was Norwich IMO. I felt they attacked and defended normally not with 10 men behind the ball as soon as we got possesion.

What happened over there? Why did loads of stewards suddenly wade in to the block after about 35 minutes? It seemed like it was rocking up 'til that point but a little quieter afterwards.

I was in West Upper for the first time last night (#YOLO) and there was actually some decent noise (acoustics were better than East Lower, though). Was a good atmosphere for the most part.

I actually prefer winning on penalties to winning 4-0 in this instance.
