And where does the £80m come from?Is Evan Ferguson the real deal. Would it be too big a risk offering 80 million for him now before the price starts to go up?
Cause we sure as shit ain't throwin money around are we.

And they could say they have Saka who cost what from.their academy? We've managed to get Bentancur, Udogie, Sarr, Maddison and Bissouma for barely more than the gooners have just paid for Rice. That is fucking mental.
Wash your mouth out mate Australia has reached the knockout phase as many times as Canada has even qualified for the tournament. Since they last won a major tournament, we won our continental trophy, moved continents, qualified for 5 straight World Cups, won another continent's trophy and produced one of the best managers in World football.Today’s winning post.
I guess Ange could be in love with David and we are wrong but I’m not sure because we’ve been interested for a few years…
Only thing in my mind is Canada is similar to Australia for football. Maybe the small country thing appeals to Ange
We had Kane from our academy. Who wins now?And they could say they have Saka who cost what from.their academy?
Let me tell you I would rather we paud 100 million for Rice than 50 million for Ndombele and whatever we paid for Lo Celso.
Not comparing apples and apples mate.
We had Kane from our academy. Who wins now?
The point is, it's not finally down to how much you spend.
Rice is class. Would be happy if we’d blown 100m on him this summer.
DM and captaincy sorted for years.

Kind of related to this but how the fuck does Poch want more signings?
Honestly, Arty? The right ones. And the right manager. I don't personally care how much stuff costs (not my cash) but I do want it all to make sense. That's where the club's been failing for a fair old time. We've spent £400M since Paratici joined, Chelsea have spent £988M since Boehley...which set of players would you rather have?
Can’t agree.
He’s not THAT good. A very good player but a £100m player? Nope.
How much did we pay for Bissouma?!
I respect your opinion btw. I just don’t agree with it.
We've managed to get Bentancur, Udogie, Sarr, Maddison and Bissouma for barely more than the gooners have just paid for Rice. That is fucking mental.
That's my point, spending a shit ton of money isn't a guarantee of success if you've spent most of it on dross...Honestly, Arty? The right ones. And the right manager. I don't personally care how much stuff costs (not my cash) but I do want it all to make sense. That's where the club's been failing for a fair old time.
But I now see green shoots and good football and that counts for something. Just hoping Levy realises what he's got: a manager we're all getting behind and some really good young players. Give them more to strengthen depth and the future's bright.
Will it happen? We'll see ...
Last season the club announced that there would be a 150m cash injection in order for us to compete. Loads thought that cash injection was in addition to the money that we had in the pot already for the summer.
The club proceeded to have a net spend of 131m. So with a 150m cash injection in addition to our allocated summer transfer funds we somehow proceeded to spend less then the cash injection.
The board then came out with a statement stating we had spent 200m (I assume they were including the Porro and Kulu fees).
When they inevitably screw us over again I hope they don't have the audacity to include them in this seasons spend in order to justify how utterly pathetic they have been again.
I had to watch most of forests games last season, Johnson is good but not elite. His finishing is terrible. Fair enough he plays in a struggling side so might get more chances with us.
I doubt we're planning on using him as a striker. Taiwo Awoniyi is a much better goalscorer than he is for Forest. But he won't score bundles. Those strikers are few and far between at present, so it's a matter of what type of striker we want to try and secure.
No Kanes, Agueros, Henrys anywhere at all.
