Lo Celso is absolute sack of shit who has no useful attributes for Spurs.
He is one of the biggest transfer flops in Spurs history. When he had to play Maddison role in Fulham game first half, we looked way worse than championship team. But even on that non-existent level he was fragile enough that he had to be taken off for 2nd 45 minute half.

Always good to point out national team side... you know, the national side who won the WC without Lo Celso in the side. Yea, basically they are nothing without him, isn't it so!

Whenever we get to CL, I would obviously rather have Skippy on the teamsheet over Lo Celso.

All this because he had an unfortunate knock. Embarrassing. Whenever we get to the CL Skipp will probably be at Norwich.

How many years ago?

He was invisible and useless in building attacks across the first 45 minutes.
I think shots were 6:1 and our shot was some random long-shot from 33 meters by the time he came off.
He was totally unable to link up the attack with the rest of the side.

Also what are the other excuses of him being useless? He was supposed to be Eriksen replacement and cost 48 million. If you put together his goals and assists in EPL+CL it amounts to 2+3 ... with 3 years. That is just garbage. Maddison has 2+2 with 4 GAMES while GLC needed 3 YEARS. Solomon got 2 assists in one game. If we start Lo Celso instead of Maddison or Solomon it is pretty much like starting with 10 men.

If the post was too long, I can make it shorter - James Maddison has done as much with FOUR GAMES that Lo Celso has done with THREE YEARS.

You are welcome to read that again once you forget. That is the actual difference in quality as well.

Lo Celso picked up a knock in that half, who knows how much of it he played injured? Not like we could even progress the ball to him.
 
surely after international break hes had long enough to settle in. need to start seeing him on the bench, need an actual number9 option. would love to see him get last half hour against sheff united.

Al Gold has been saying that Postcoglou stated in pre-season that Veliz wouldn't be playing in the first half of the season. But what Ange actually said was first part of the season, and whether part means first int. break, second break, Christmas break.. I don't know. Will fully depend on how he does in training I guess.
