I don't ever, ever, EVER want to hear 'x club are cheats' from our fans again. Paratici has done a good job, makes sense to keep him around ... but we are very much part of the corrupt, fraudulent football world with no moral highground to speak of.

Re: Paratici, Munn, a prospective DOF and the structure of our recruitment, it is my firm and unyielding take that I don't really know what to think.

I know what the right structure looks like, but the right structure doesn't have Daniel Levy in it and it doesn't have someone banned by FIFA from negotiating transfers in it either.

Just keep buying technically proficient players and employing forward-thinking coaches to deploy them. That's how we turned this ship into a better direction.

What cheating do Spurs stand accused of?

Consulting blokes too dodgy to work in Serie fucking A by the back-door because you can't technically have him in charge is the exact same as the shit people moan at Chelsea at i.e pulling every skanky trick to avoid FFP.

We are in the dirt & grime. Paratici is dodgy as all hell and we're happy to bung him a few quid for his expertise.

As much as you wish you could frame this as the same as the ACTUAL rule breaking of other clubs; it doesn't wash.

It really does. And its incredible how you and others decide this is the EXACT line you're drawing (happy to consult with frauds?) even though I bet if another club did the exact same you'd be all over it.

It IS hypocrisy, and it stinks. I'm absolutely fine with the club doing it as I long since accepted the corrupt, morally dubious nature of football, but it's eye roll inducing when fans pretend we're separate from this and moral.

Insider trader owners consulting frauds too corrupt for Serie A so they can sign players.

I was waiting for this 😆

Why waiting? I've been saying it for months. And you KNOW its factual.

And like I've said - no issue. Just don't cry about other clubs being cheats. I'll actually give it to you, you're not one of the ones I generally see doing this, so that's fine. But if you're someone who gives it the big un' about us being more 'moral' then you shouldn't be happy with this situation either.

Otherwise that person is a hypocrite.

On the contrary; you're drawing a line on my behalf..... I'll thank you politely not to. (See below)

No; I will criticise them thx.

....And if we are found to be cheating; then I'll criticise our owners for doing so to.

What you won't find; is me pre-emptively brow-beating my club.... For anything.

And I'll call you a hypocrite for it. All's fair.

I'm not brow-beating the club - I'm saying we're just part of it. I accepted that long ago hence I don't fret about potentially 'bad' owners whilst we have these crooks in charge anyway.

He has done a good job to be honest I was one of the ones who didn't like it, all the negative crap that was going on around the club. With Conte capitulation then our season going to shit. Paratici ban added to that. In fairness his wrong doings were done away from the club so in some ways had nothing to do with us but I get your point

That's not hypocrisy; thats consistency, FFS.

Nope. Not a chance in hell you'd be so generous if Woolwich were still blatantly consulting with a bloke banned from working in fucking Italy, you'd be all over it.

You justify it because it's Spurs. Your club. But you can't admit openly that you're doing so out of bias, even though its a blatant fact.

There's nothing wrong with it, I just wish you'd admit it.
