Unless Austin has an option for an additional year, his contract runs out in the summer.

Agree, and Whiteman has a contract to June 2025.

So pretty sure one of them will be 3rd GK next season. Club trained GK, alternative is to use an overseas trained or 'Trained by other club affiliated to The FA or FAW' place, both categories we can usefully used for other players.

My guess is Austin and or Whiteman stays until Gunter is ready - which might be 3 or 4 years !

Devine & Scarlett are both 19, so they won't be taking Club Trained slots next season.

It probably means Skipp has to stay for squad depth, & we might even go with both Austin and Whiteman as the 2 back up keepers, as both are Club Trained.

Is there any way we can get to 4 Club Trained? Santiago will be over 21, butt hasn't played a minute of first team football, so we have no idea if he's got enough quality to play competitive football for us.

The logic of these numbers mean I don't think we'll be signing Werner. He's even poorer technically than I thought from watching his clownshow days at the chavs. We can do much beter.
Yago Santiago will still count as u21 for UEFA next season because he's born after Jan 2003 so he can be on list B.
Austin and Lyons-Foster's contracts are due to expire (barring any 1 year extensions)

I think the possible club trained players next year are:

Skipp
Whiteman
Tanganga
Parrott
Robson

And then any former players that are club trained like Cirkin that we bring back.

Obviously don't have to hit 4, can bulk out the squad with players like Devine, Scarlett, Donley, Dorrington, Santiago etc. if they stay around and aren't loaned out.

Read on epl index website yesterday were after rashford.

Don't you actually read this guff before regurgitating such rubbish:

"Samuel Bannister of TeamTalk recently speculated that Tottenham Hotspur could be an ideal destination for Rashford"

It doesn't say we're after him at all.

Simplifying it. Tbh i think it could be a good move all round. Obvious he dont like ten haag discipline. Then again would we want a player like that in dressing room. Think veluz will come good in end and monitoring scarlett, parrott and devine. Would be great all 4 come good. Personally i think veliz will be good for us. Soyth american press said we virtually stole him as a top talent.

Simplifying what?

You lied about the contents of an already click-bait bollocks article.

Tanganga went on last summer's preseason tour and played first half v West Ham in the first game and 2nd half of 2nd game. If Ange thought he was a first team candidate last season, I don't understand why he was loaned out last day of September transfer window when we knew we had spare spaces for Club trained players and Sanchez would have been known to be moving on.

So not sure why Tanganga would be considered different next season and retained in the squad next season ?

Parrott injured last preseason hence loan out to Excelsior this season. He might be more likely if Ange impressed with his Excelsior performances and he thinks he's good enough.

Santiago being on bench this season suggests Ange thinks he might be an option : but of course he's not got any minutes.

I think Robson would have been on the bench this season if he was considered an option.

Whilst still u21 I think Scarlett MIGHT be retained with squad next season - although possibly better off developed on loan. Devine more likely to be retained based upon loan performances this season.
Donley could do with a loan I think. Dorrington probably could do with a loan and not as physically developed as Phillips imo. so might not be up to playing mens football now ?

No easy solutions ! I think all serious possibilities will be on next preseason tour

Olise & Eze would be perfect if wasn't for the fact that both have signed long term contracts and neither would be let go for a minimum of £60m-£70m (regardless of Palace getting relegated) a reasonable value in the current market and an amount our Club would never consider coming anywhere near to.

They're "not perfect" because of their poor injury records; especially Olise.... BIG red flag!

Son & Richy + one of Scarlet/Veliz would be my CFs next season.

Beef up the wings as required.

Veliz and scarlett need to play week in week out at their age. Parrot is kind of interesting IMO as a 3rd striker. Give him a last chance to make it here, I think he'd play like a man possessed every time he got a chance.

I've thought all season that we need a demon LWF and leave Johnson and Deki as the RWF's. I still think that but the balance won't be easy because a beast LWF most likely means Son starting CF and Richy on the bench. We will most likely sell at least one of the forwards we have on the books and I don't mean Gil.

Okay my bad, that was very reactionary. Hopefully Ange gives him a chance between now and the end of the season. I suspect he won't quite have the end product though.

Stand by what I said about RW though, I've lost patience with Kulu unless he can reinvent himself as a midfielder.

Yeh, I purposely sidestepped the Kulu debate.......

But it's not like Solomon didn't look useful...... Everybody's been banging on about a winger who can beat a man 1 v 1 recently..... He can...... And if he get's the chance, he's got a few goals in his locker too.
