What annoys me is how they've fairly recently dropped mentioning the "women's" part in the title of general news and news articles, so often one will think it's about the men's team but alas...it's snot!

You can't be "man of the match" anymore. It's "player of the match"
You can't say "Spurs are down to 10 men" either. It's 10 players.
It's not a mixed sport. It's mens football. Call them fucking men.

So when Spurs (men) finish playing and I pick up the PS5 remote, or turn the TV (but not sky box) off, it looks like I'm watching the womens game.
And then we get the higher than ever viewing figures thrown at us.
