He’s going to be 28 this coming season. So I think he is what he is.

Just need good competition for him in our squad.
 
I'm also confused why they would get him to leave camp first and not just cut the 7 players at the same time? maybe something more to this?

either way he didn't deserve to get a spot in the squad (he didn't even deserve to start a lot of the games for us since returning from injury but there you go).

My friend who is a Leicester supporter said he is a massive sulker as well and I can see that unfortunately in the way he behaves, I expected more from him quite frankly.
 
Being dropped before Saturday seems insulting unless there’s been a big fall out. He’s also dropped England from his social media apparently so I reckon he won’t be part of England‘s squads in the future.

Perhaps all the players were informed and Maddison just took it very badly and told Southgate to do one and fucked off? He appears to be quite a highly strung bloke, there’s a high chance that’s what happened IMO. Coupled with the cringy removing England from his bio.

It’s deserved though if we’re being totally honest. He’s been crap for us since the turn of the year and there are far better options available in the squad.

Tbh what's the point of the other players sticking around and being involved in the last warm up game if they ain't going to the Euros?
Seems like bad management from waist coat (I do agree Madders probably hasn't done enough second half of the season)
 
Waist-coat will lose us another competition, but as long as he sprinkles the press conferences with defensive comments about how done-down female footballers and black players are, he will no doubt be beyond criticism from our cowardly MSM.

However, I agree Madders should not make the Euro squad. Eze far better over last few months. Not that being in form has mattered much to Waist-coat!

Pep for manager next? :D
