Well Levy is a cheeky one isn't he. Sherwood will only take it full time so he's given an 18 month contract to get on with while Levy set up van Gaal for next summer and pay Sherwood off.

Didn't even see Sherwood as en option for permenant manager.

thing is that we don't know he's a shit manager yet. So I guess it could be worse...

I'm more looking at levy than red Tim.

Let's hope he makes it work for everyone's sake.
 
Levy did the right thing, imo.
If Tim gets us in the top 4 ... the job is his and maybe can earn himself a contract extension.
If he fails or does badly by the end of the season, Levy should go all out for LvG.
Or if Tim fails midway to the end of the season, we could always try Hoddle.

Anyway ... congrats to the love child of Lord Bolton and Jeremy Renner.
 
I'm surprised but really pleased for him, as he has clearly enjoyed his caretaker role. He has my full backing and I think we all need to give him our full support going forwards. COYS!!

If he fails, Daniel Levy will have destroyed what could quite possibly have been our most succesful season in over half a century. The thought of Mourinho v Sherwood or Wenger v Sherwood or even Martinez v Sherwood is not a nice one.
 
I can't wait until the summer when all our top players are handing in transfer requests left, right and center. Good times ahead you fuckn lemmings.
 
Well it is what it is. A sorry period for Tottenham is over and the uncertainty of what we'll be doing for the rest of the season is laid to rest. Let's get behind the manager and prove all the doubters wrong. This squad is good enough to achieve something this season and we should all back sherwood to succeed.
 
He doesn't even hold a UEFA B licence required for the job, I guess Spurs will apply for an extension. He is now in the company of these wonderful Managers who also didn't hold a Licence when appointed Managers Glen Roeder, Gareth Southgate, Avram Grant and Paul Ince anyone else worried about this president?

I will get behind him as I have done every manager in the past, but I have to say the omens are all against him. Please Sherwood be good.

Exactly, I'll support him for sure but my confidence in him is nonexistent at present.
