I think a) he had to prove he wasn't biased against Bellingham (after Jude's comments about him being a match-fixer) and b) he's German, so he sees the Dutch national team as the enemy.If we were the Dutch, we'd be raging at the referee. Even with my England bias, he seemed blatantly one-sided. I laughed my arse off when Van Dijk got booked for correctly pointing out that it was a corner kick.
