Ex-Spurs Player Jermaine Jenas: Pundit

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Even guilty people fight charges, Matt.

I haven't said what he's done, I've merely stated what it's *likely* to be.

Are you one of these people that need to see the proof yourself before you believe someone is guilty?

I'm sure Jenas won't mind revealing the incriminating material himself if he's so innocent.

Whatever it is, she didn't want it. That's the crucial part you seem to be missing.
Generally speaking I believe people are innocent until proven guilty, yes.
There are exceptions to the rule. Jackson, Crosby, OJ, etc where very good lawyers found technicalities to get guilty men off.
But women accusing men, especially famous ones with a bit of money to benefit isn't at all uncommon. In fact, it's a very, very serious problem.

There's so many incidences like these

Then there's the ones we don't hear about because the celeb just pays them to shut up and F off to save time and money.

I'm quite lucky really in that I haven't got money or fame for a woman to extort lol.

For every woman looking to exploit a man there will be tenfold men exploiting women that doesn't even get mentioned. Or dealt with.

He's guilty of something, Matt, otherwise he'd have been suspended pending an investigation rather than outright dismissed.

But you do you.

Knowing men, and men in power and positions of authority, I've seen this story so many times.

I'm no legal expert but I very much suspect that "unsolicited communication" to a confirmed female complainant means he's texted her something he shouldn't have. It might just be a "fancy a fuck", it might have been a picture of his tallywhacker, or somewhere inbetween.

Whatever it is, it's attention of an unwanted nature. That's called harassment, which has always been illegal in civilised society. When it comes sexualised, it's sexual harassment. Which, if proved, usually gets you sacked in any job. It's not about being "woke", it is about not being a dirty pervert to people you work with.

Amazed you have to explain this to people.
Excellent use of tallywhacker. These are the gifs it gives:

Just to be clear.

Or maybe an absolute triviality was blown out of proportions as we've seen in many other cases, you can speculate of what actually happened all day. The point is that many people are now way to eager to make him look like a criminal without having even the slightest idea of what happened, the motives from the parties involved etc.

The simple fact that he was sacked means absolutely nothing given the state of the current BBC.

Then he'd have just been suspended, wouldn't he?

It's quite a leap to instantly dismiss someone and then have them lose their agent too.

Like I said to Matt, you do you. But when the default response is akin to "motives from other parties" then it shows why life is still shit for women in 2024. Because the default is on a woman to prove the offence.

Misogyny is ingrained, huh.

Like I say, I'd rather wait until the facts are known before demonizing someone.

Thought JJ was a decent guy and pundit. If he’s screwed up his career by being an idiot then he’s a fool. No way back to any vaguely mainstream media.
