Get sick and tired of this talk of "heavy beatings" from Jeff Stelling and the like.. It goes both ways.. They've been twatted at our place a good few times in recent years. And our record for the most part up there isn't half bad the last 10 years.. But that doesn't get spoken about, because Newcastle not being on our level is expected, and business as usual.
They did us 5-1 whilst already relegated, our last 2 games up there have been 6-1 and 4-0 losses. In the Sir Bobby Robson period we used to get battered regularly by them.
Our best results were in the Ashley years when they were more or less a Championship side.
It’s just one of those northern hell holes we fall apart at regularly.
That said, got a feeling we might pinch a draw tomorrow
