Wow, 30 per cent who voted need to give their heads a wobble.
I voted yes (keep) based on timing.
Had it been between Sept last season and the start of this season I probably would have said get rid.
The key to his change is him not being out on that right wing. He became truly awful out there to the point he made himself and the team look bad.
This new free role, interchanging with Maddison is much better for him and the team.

I've only just seen this poll but I'd say yes. He's a very intelligent player. He'll go on to thrive in a top team with better players around him if he moves on from us. If players are on on his wavelength he's a lethal machine to have in the team.
The issue is making sure we have the calibre of player needed to feed off his game.

Yep.
Get rid.

What a turd.
Slow as fuck.

I mean - I partly get it. In different systems he has had different roles with different efficacy - he is not suited to be winger in Ange gameplan... but since day 1 there have been visible and undeniable qualities about him. His strength and stamina. His good touch. His good reading of the game.

Yes, he will not accelerate like a demon to sprint and dribble past number of players. That is just not his game. But I've had no doubts that there is use for player like that in our system.

Kind of mental that he has been here for 2,5 years and already has taken part in 104 games.
And despite looking for his place and having consistent changes happening in Spurs he has produced 16 goals and 21 assists across this time. Averaging either goal or assist once in 196 minutes, so goal or assist essentially every other game.

And now this midfield duo with Madders seems really promising and exiting.
Happy to have player like that with us!

Depends where you play him and in what system...like loads of footballers

Exactly this. Honestly sick of people saying this player or that player is shit or average -

If they are playing in a top division in one of Europe's best leagues, the likelihood is they are fucking well, well above average.

The idea that footballers are all robots and can adapt and flourish playing in any system, for any manager is frankly ludicrous.

Of course, there are exceptions to the rule in both scenarios - Some players absolutely manage to punch above their weight - largely due to being utilised correctly and their strengths in specific areas being leaned on. And some players are just simply incredible footballers and would flourish no matter what.

But the vast majority at the top of today's game have got there because they are pretty exceptional at their trade and very often, all it takes is the trait/s of theirs that is exceptional being matched with the right system and complementary system and you will see them for the talent they are.

I love it when fans say that they "could have finished that". Mate, you'd barely make it 5 mins into the game before collapsing.

For that exact reason, I laugh when older fans rate players from the 60's higher than todays players.
They might be great for 20 minutes. But then it would be a fucking massacre. Modern fitness levels are just insane compared to then. Even Ndombelly would look fit.

This poll was made when he was struggling to deliver as a RWF in Ange's system. His emergence as a hybrid #8/#10 alongside Maddison has been transformational. His strong running with the ball, insane work ethic off it, and ability to play one touch passes in tight areas have made him arguably our most important player and alongside Romero, VDV and Solanke, is irreplaceable.

Yup, disregard the last 2 years of absolute shit folks and base all your current circle-jerking on 6 games where we didn't play ANYONE remotely good or able to limit his space. More games to come for you to exercise your good faith analysis folks. I'll be looking for most of you then.

Umm, sorry mr super-expert.
Last game was away against Manchester United. Where we dominated the whole game.
Previous EPL game was against Brendford that is quite consistent mid-table team in EPL - kind of which that makes up majority of our opposition teams.

No one here has been saying that Kulusevski would be a superb winger in Ange system. Something that was tried with little outcome for far too long.

Though before that he produced 5 goals and 8 assists with just half of the EPL season, may I remind.

"Circle-jerking" and "limiting space" ... fucksake, you could not identify technically good player if he would be jerking you off. Go and wank on Adama Traore babyoil-covered pictures and dream of what that straight-line springing lad would do (to you in your fantasies).

I think you'll find this was pre-Ange
