Did you buy a seat for the game a few days ago?

Newcastle’s main issue is FFP. They apparently want to spend a lot more but can’t because they are at their max. If they owned us with our very large FFP gap they would be probably buying players left right and centre. We actually are theoretical in a position to spend crazy on transfers and wages but don’t want to where as Newcastle are the total opposite.

Chelsea beat the system by selling all their infrastructure like women’s team and hotel.

We could have done the same with all the property we have but levy wasn’t clever enough to think of it..

We deprioritise cups to prioritise league position. And when we don't the players are never sufficiently rotated to be in good condition relative to the clubs that win these conpetitions with deeper squads.

Even the CL final, we hardly went in as favourites. Kane was crocked and we had no serious backup.

That is just not always true. Sure it feels true, but it's not.

In the FA Cup we are 6th in Semi Final appearances and the League Cup we are 5th, which pretty much directly aligns with our spending.

You would also have to concede that before we moved stadiums we were playing catchup with many clubs too.

Like most things in life, this isn't as black and white as many make out.

We haven't been to an FA Cup final since 1991.

We've reached the Semis 5 times under ENIC, but that's really scraping the barrel as a measure of success.

Haven't you got parking tickets to hand out?

You don't have a single original thought in your head - just agree with the masses. Twat.

You're a child mate. Act your age. Some of you who are 40-50+ and still act like this baffle me, you fuckers probably have grandkids and still act like you're in the pub about to start throwing punches lmao. Get the werther originals out and have a fucking day off.

Although did make me chuckle with the "just agree with the masses" nonsense as if I haven't consistently had extremely unpopular opinions on here which have got me pelters, opinions which now happen to be popular after the fact. What a dunce you are, seriously one of the least intelligent on here.

Yes, but revenue isn’t profit. As you say, the enterprise will need “some investment” but that’s the problem. Us Spurs fans here just want a successful football team but that - as we well know - will need a whole lot of investment and whoever comes in with £2.5 billion will certainly not just want it to be a football team, they’ll want it to be a revenue\profit\cash generator and I remain wondering what type of buyer we will attract.
Maybe a Saudi sports washer… (!)
I don’t think you buy it for operational profit - it’s for the potential revenue growth you can leverage and then flip
