It'll be good if a whole stand does it vs woolwichI'd just like to say I'd happily see anyone who salutes back to Ade when he scores a goal hung from their bollocks off the top of the Park Lane.
no that would be fucking awful

Or laughing after sending a crucial penalty to Planet Mars in the most lacklustre fashion possible to get us knocked out of Europe...Absolutely. Would much rather see him screaming at a player that didn't pass on an easy scoring chance vs him laughing after a defender takes the ball from him after he falls over from a lackadaisical touch.

The past? You mean the season where he was the best striker in the league in terms of goals and assists two seasons ago?I really don't understand why anyone would feel so negative towards the guy - he's been the victim of poor man-management, but now has quite a lot more spirit and wise words than many other players out there.
If he turns sour again I'll eat my words, but until then I'm a big fan of Ade, regardless of the past
The mind plays funny tricks on everyone if they let it.Before going to bed I caught a re run of an old game at the goonery where they beat Blackburn 6-2
I was fascinated to see how well Adebayor played, and how influential he was to their team - yet felt soiled by the experience of watching them win, and enjoying seeing him do what he can do - and doing it so well.
I would love to see a performance of that quality against City - in the game I watched he was unplayable.
PS Bentley was superb for Blackburn as well, whatever happened to him to make him sink so low in his personal game?

all the comments you ever seem to make are like this.
The psychological aspect of a footballers make up is a rather important point Mick. You asked the question about Bentley and got an answer or two including perhaps an excessive alcohol condition as suggested above. For Ade to play well against City he will have to be positively motivated, something I think the squad have lacked at times during this season to date has been ensuring the mind as well as the body are up for it. So if you think a footballers state of mind is unimportant Mick, well so be it!!all the comments you ever seem to make are like this.
If its all you've got to offer, I'd rather you didn't bother, thanks all the same
can we not just celebrate a goal normallyHe's scorin goals for Spurs and looks to be appreciating his re-emergent chance in the process. I salute him back every time with a big ass grin on my face.
