So what do people expect points wise from the next 10 games?

Less than 10 points?. Respectable 15? CL chasing 20??

What are you all saying? 10 points pretty much makes us safe IMHO.

Depends who the 10 points are earned against. If we are dropping 20 points and on the way losing to Everton, Ipswich, Leicester and United it’ll be hairy for sure.

We also have City and Chelsea in the next 10 league fixtures, with Southampton and Wolves shortly after that.

Losing all the “relegation” 6 pointers would be an interesting experience to say the least.

Haven't really looked at all the fixtures but any team that is more or less guaranteed to concede in every match is living dangerously and a team that has been in poor form for a year now can't be completely ruled out .There is always a chance one or two below us could hit a bit of form and drag us near enough to the fight .

Spot on. Its the same arrogance that just thought we would stroll to a Europa win earlier in the season. We've been in rancid form for at least 10 months, have a poor manager, the coaching is non exsistant, cant keep clean sheets and a ton of injuries. If a couple of those above Southampton in 19th to 16th hit any sort of form we're in the shit. Unlikely but possible. A few weeks ago no one would have thought Palace or West Ham would catch us up.

Yes. But all of those numbers are higher than we currently have and we are struggling right now to get points on the board. 5 points from 24. No home win in 2 months. Away form absolute arse.

United play Southampton next week and whilst the likely result will see distance remain between us and Southampton, United will overtake us. Favourable results in other games could also see us just a few points above 17th.

As unlikely as we think it may be statistically the longer this goes on for, the hairier it’s going to get.
Point remains I think. Even if we only got 5 points the entire rest of the season, even that many would have had us survive 2 of the last 5 years.

5 more points for us will keep us up? I reckon that Wolves, Palace, Everton and Ipswich will all finish with at least 30 points each. That would be more than your five point safety prediction.

Southampton are fucked and probably Leicester too but we need to be better than 3 teams.

There’s only one team that I’d be confident against right now and that’s Southampton. I think we struggle to beat anyone else in this league at the moment.
