Annoying thing is that the goal Ajayi scored is something that none of our WFs have done this season under Ange - cut inside, passed the ball and followed it with aggressive intent into the box. Will this get coached out of him? Or are Johnson, Werner, Son all not capable of that type of move?

Teams look to block off Sonny’s space to do that. Johnson’s bodyshape is all wrong and he never gives himself the option of cutting inside. Werner’s long past coaching.

I mean I did specifically say I could see Woolwich finding the PSR room, they haven't spent as prolifically as Chavs or Utd although the Rice deal coupled with the various reinforcements Arteta have brought in to support his league tilts have clearly pushed them much closer. The cynic in me says this could just be Woolwich taking a leaf out of Levy's "we tried" book to pacify their fanbase...

Ultimately, if they really want Tel; I don't think they're any less likely to sign him now than in the summer........

I don't think our chances are good no matter whether those clubs are involved now or in the summer, my only thought is the slim hope we can hold on to is that the interested parties largely decide to keep their powder dry for the summer when the active PSR period moves forward a year at the start of the next transfer window. If Woolwich come in for him we're absolutely fucked, the way I see it they are the only team I'm especially worried about coming in for him as I think Chavs will ultimately decide they don't really need him at that money, United won't clear the PSR headroom and ditto Villa.
