Someone needs to take away his internet

I just want a different coach than Ange. I find it extremely troubling that he ok'd us bringing in Johnson who is not the kind of winger he needed for his system. I really don't have confidence Ange and the club together, for whatever reasons, can buy the appropriate talent for his system, and that they would be able to do within 2-3 seasons even if they could get on the same page.

We appear to just be getting whomever is for sale on Lange/Paratici's data-driven hotlist. I don't think Ange knows how to make the best use of this. His ignorant marooning of Spence is proof of this.

Great if we can get this done.
Now go and finish the window with at least one quality midfielder (Fabian Ruiz loan from Psg) and LCH/LB (Hincapie/Tomori).
Really want to put a cherry on top then a right winger too.
Fabian ain't a 6 and he's not quick. Very much a Rod Bentancur v2.0 and also on mad PSG wages.

But yeah, very good player (on his day...mostly for Spain).

Keane was bought by Liverpool at one price but offloaded 6 months later as the player didn't work out and Spurs did well out of that.

I very much doubt if the Keane resale was expected when he went to Liverpool, and never said it was.

But the fact Keane flopped and didn't play that much at Liverpool ...... is totally consistent with Liverpool buying him being to disrupt Spurs rather than them wanting the player. When Spurs didn't fall apart and Liverpool didn't want the player any more ....... Spurs happy to take him back at a discount.

I clearly think a lot more of Berbatov as a player than you do, so I don't agree with your idea of valuation. No surprise, lots of fans disagree with player valuations.

Berbatov made Keane look good a lot of the time.
I wasn't too upset we got £20m for Keane.
£12m to bring him back was a waste of money as it wasn't a coincidence he flopped at Liverpool. He was finished.

So where to we think Tel will go to spoil our fun?
I can only assume Levy knows he has a better offer as he wouldn't be offering up a big old fee if he thought he'd actually have to pay it.

I agree with you even if you quoted me. But my argument with Levy is not about him not spending money, but his levyconomics of spending. Because he's very likely not paying a high wages for Tel when the total package considered could possibly have gotten a more established player at a higher wage but lower fee.

Also he splurges it so late in the window but haggles over the little amount, presumably, earlier in the window is so penny wise pound foolish of him and hurting the squad and results.
