It’s not about scoring goals. It’s about having a forward line that can press, retain possession and having wingers that can hold witdth and run the full backs hence why we bought Odoburt and tried to buy Neto. Our attacking balance affects how we defend just as how our defensive balance and ability to play out from the back affects how well we attack. Our forward line needs work, we have now got Tel in to try and help out.
If this is right, and it’s coming from more than one decent source , there must be problems with Romero’s injury.
If he is due back in a couple of weeks we would have him plus Micky, Danso and Ben. Plus Archie if required.

We didn't score a shit load of goals against Woolwich, Newcastle, Palace, Ipswich, Leicester, Bournemouth, Forest or Fulham,
If you count Newcastle, Arse and Leicester twice that's 11 games where we've scored 1 or less and lost most of them.
Bags of goals in some games. Even some of those are irrelevant. 5-1 down against Liverpool before adding 2 more. 3-0 down against Everton before adding 2. 4-2 down against Chelsea, 2 came from a clown tripping over his clown shoes and the 3rd came in injury time when it should have been worse than 4-2
Our goals scored column is bizarre. A lot of goals in some games, fuck all in others.
Look at Liverpool instead. 8 more than us, but far more steadily spread over 23 games.
