Probably bollocks, but his track record this window has actually been surprisingly decent.

Come September 2nd we'll have an exasperated Alasdair Gold telling us how Spurs have 'learned lessons' from this window, but we've heard that multiple times over the years. It speaks very poorly of our transfer operation to be a week away from the end of the window and having so much of our focus on players that can't be had at any price, something we should have sussed out months ago.
