Match Spurs v Brighton (Away) - Sat 20th September - KO: 3pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Read that we havent won't 3 away games in a row in PL since Mourinho.

Fact that Frank was so close to achieve that having City/Spammers/Brighton as set of opponents in his first two months at club is encouraging.

If this summer is now the blueprint going forward we are moving in the right direction signing wise.

Kudus, Simons, Muani, (Savinho) >>> Johnson, Richy, Solanke, Odobert

Need to keep going in this way and beef up the attacking quality. We were not adequately prepared at all for losing Son and Kane.
Yeah I agree, hopefully it's a sign of things changing, as they say you buy cheap you buy twice and there's no reason whatsoever for buying cheap with the resources we have.

I've said it before but we should be able to sign a few quality players each summer that improve the starting XI (within reason for now as we're not as attractive to the best of the best) and complement that by also setting aside money for Bergvall, Sarr level signings instead of them being the main signings.

Very good to have come back, and a point is the least we deserved after playing aggressively but conceding 2 poor goals. We really are bursting at the seams with central midfielders and I wonder if Xavi will still end up on the left more often than not.
I think Brighton feel THEY conceded 2 poor/soft goals too... an scrappy deflection off the keeper and an o.g!

Their 2nd goal was a peach to be fair .. but Vic definitely shoulda got more of a hand to it... THEN we'd have seen if it was so unstoppable or not!

Congrats to 5 Live for completing my own personal Football Cliché Bingo with their 'Good game for the neutral' comment at the end.

Honestly, anyone who loves football doesn't give a shit about the neutral! As if we're only playing the game for THEM!

Imagine if someone with a stunning wife conceded that anyone and everyone can gawp at her, because she's a "Good looking wife for the neutral" ...fuck off and get your OWN wife!

Anyway, I digress.... 0-2 to 2-2... They'll be more pissed off with letting it slip...

Just a shame we couldn't finish the job like THEY did last season !🙄

10 points from 5 games isn't bad

Still Solanke and Kiolo Muani (both potential starters) to come into the side within a couple of games giving us more options and chances to rotate.

Although we looked bit shoddy at times , we really should have won that .

Definitely some glimpses of good play along side some poor stuff

Give Frank the backing and patience and I think we will get it together

Oh , and Simons must play in that 10 spot , you can see he will make things happen

All in all pretty pleased with the performance

Tough match against a good home team.
I saw hunger and spirit, I saw a team playing for each other and together, I saw that we could bring a player of real quality in Xavi, Destiny excellent. I saw coaching. Take the points, work on the team gelling and move on to Doncaster. I'm pleased enough this evening

Agree on Bent but not with Kudus - he works very hard and he is direct - takes on players - and played quality balls into the box that should have been finished (Xavi Chance). Class act imo
I like Kudus and a lot of what he does is really good but for all that he doesn’t spot passing opportunities when they’re there or he doesn’t play it at the right time. The combination play and fluency just seems off a lot of the time. For the strength and ability he’s got more of substance should be coming from his side.
