Just gonna post from a guy called Jakuba on SC - sums it up -
My favourite.....Mate.
I just cant take you seriously... you said Richarlison has more strings to his bow than Solanke.
Richarlison is literally a Bow with no strings.
Easily one of the worst takes ive ever read on TFC.
Ah the bastion of trust me bro info
Of course .....
What's Poch done since Spurs? He's not exactly gone on to great things and been hugely in demand. Never go back and never take people back.
For someone who doesn't like Postecoglou you sure do post about him a lot
it might be just easier if you apologise to everyone for telling them a new coach would magically fix us and stop policing other people's enjoyment of the European Trophy eh?
Some of us warned you the grass wouldn't be greener and we want to focus on fixing our current problems which have always ran much deeper than either Postecoglou, Frank or any manager to be honest.
Sooner you accept that sooner you can find some peace.
Canāt give the manager all the credit for getting players to overachieve. I could look ok next to DembĆ©lĆ©, or Toby and play at an absolute peak. That 11 was class, and they could carry an average playerJust gonna post from a guy called Jakuba on SC - sums it up -
"I think a part of it he gets nowhere near enough credit for - largely as he stopped doing it later on - was his ability to get some pretty average players playing well and able to contribute for a team going for the title.
When I think back to Wimmer coming in for Vertonghen when he got injured in 2016 and genuinely barely missing Vertonghen. Wimmer didnāt come close to playing at that level ever again in his career but during his time for us he looked like a top 6 quality centre back. Same with Winks, who went from outplaying Modric and Kroos in the Champions League and a regular in a title chasing team to being a Championship player, Chadli scored 14 goals in 64 league appearances - many of which off the bench and then had a pretty uninspiring club career since leaving us, Bentaleb was instrumental in Pochās first season, Sissoko ended being a more than decent player for us under Poch.
It wasnāt just the obvious names turning into stars that made the Poch team. That we were able to bring some guys into that team who we wouldnāt look at twice now and would be able to perform when they needed to.
Having those X factor players is always going to be decisive but bringing up the floor on even the worst players can get you a hell of a lot of wins too cause thatās what gets you consistency where the minimum performance is high it means youāre not counting on your stars to bail you out with individual quality every game.
Issue with Frank right now is heās brought the whole level down and made our X factor players so 1 dimensional that they donāt even get in the position to pull us out the shit.
Poch on the other hand would bring the minimum level up that weād be able to overrun the ālesserā teams and compete with the better teams which gives the likes of Simons or Kudus or Kulusevski or Maddison to win the game with individual brilliance."
You see, this is where you are rewriting history my friend.
He played in 10 of our opening 11 Premier League matches, starting in 8 of them, and started 2 of our first 3 Champions League games. He also played in a League Cup game.
The alternative is giving long throw Fwank another season then I know who my choice isWhat's Poch done since Spurs? He's not exactly gone on to great things and been hugely in demand. Never go back and never take people back.
Postecoglou is shit. Hes not a Winner...we...Spurs, never lost as many games in a single season ever until that fraud rocked up, we are still paying for it now.
Stop the delusion.
Frank is probably shit as well at this level, if that makes you feel better. But he is nowhere near as bad as Postecoglou.
He was injured and you could see the frustration in him. In hindsight, we should have begged him to stay until end of season and play a big part / 20 min cameo now and again but I think Dembele wanted out. Of course we should have bought a replacement as you sayYou see, this is where you are rewriting history my friend.

He wasnāt the player he was of course, but still a vitally important player for us.
He then picked up an ankle injury against Wolves in early November, and wasnāt seen again.
My point very much stands - he was still a key part of the squad (shouldnāt have been let get to that stage of course) and had he not picked up the ankle injury, he would have continued to play routinely prior to leaving for China in January.
He should not have been sold that January without a replacement being brought in - period. This revisionist nonsense that he was a crock that we were lucky to get any money for is exactly that - revisionist nonsense.
If only Frank hadn't spent so long getting Brentford promoted and then established in the Prem, he could've won some major trophies in the Scottish farmer's league with the money club or Japan with the City Football Group club.Postecoglou has a 46.5 win % with us. Frank's is 38.5. Postecoglou has won numerous trophies. Frank has none.
This is fucking jokes.Postecoglou has a 46.5 win % with us. Frank's is 38.5. Postecoglou has won numerous trophies. Frank has none.
Cant help thinking as well with poch he would get a tune out of scarlett and veliz. He polishes rough diamonds. This slide down table has to stop now. Despise them but cant help thinking if chelsea were 14th they would swiftly sack the manager. If we lose to palace sunday frank has to go. End of.Just gonna post from a guy called Jakuba on SC - sums it up -

I mean absolute every measurable metric points to you being absolutely wrong on that front. Position in the league at this point last season, expected goals, points in the league. Even the defensive stats are better!Postecoglou is shit. Hes not a Winner...we...Spurs, never lost as many games in a single season ever until that fraud rocked up, we are still paying for it now.
