I'm cool with a lower-midtable rebuild year as long as use it to properly blood some of our youngsters like Lankshear, Vuskovic Bergvall, and Moore. I don't think all the moves we need to make can be done in one summer, and filling in some of the holes with youngster that can grow into them seems a wise move to put us in a better bargaining position next summer.
I’d say we send Souza to the Bundesliga for 12 months and have Robertson and Udogie while we have one game a week next year.As long as Robertson doesn't get in the way of a younger LB getting the bulk of minutes and starts, I'm fine with it, but how much do we really want to be paying an ageing vet that may be embittered about having to be second choice to a youngster?
Devine seems to have had a decent year at Preston as well and could be ready for some bench minutes. But there's a buy out clause in play there.Had a very good season at Oxford. Could, hopefully, "could" be ready to step up
Id be very happy if he impresses enough to earn a place in the squad and some opportunities next season
Lower mid table with no european football would be a disgraceful seasonI'm cool with a lower-midtable rebuild year as long as use it to properly blood some of our youngsters like Lankshear, Vuskovic Bergvall, and Moore. FWIW I agree in general that older players on free transfers can be a source of value.
We need more goals in this team.
Richarlison's probably gone so that's 11 goals we need to replace. Then on top of that we have to get at least 5 more goals than we've gotten this season as it is.
I don't trust Solanke to stay fit let alone get double digits next season and the striker options in the market aren't great either.
People are talking about Savinho but he doesn't score enough goal.
Depends on DeZerbi.....I think he is aiming higher than a lower mid table rebuild and for that he will want to rely on experienced players
It might be a year too early for the 4 you mention. Looks like Vuskovic is staying in Hamburg, Moore likely to return to Rangers, I wouldn't mind Lankshear going to a club like Ipswich to see if McKenna can develop him in the way he did Delap. Bergvall needs a loan too
17th in the Prem the past 2 seasons has been hellacious for me personally. I don't really care how well or not we are doing in Europe if we are getting consistently done by our rivals. If we simply finish 10-12th next season, I'd consider it a very good improvement.Lower mid table with no european football would be a disgraceful season
Solanke fitness issues that seem deeper than club are letting on (notice the way he runs like he has shin splints and looks like he is in p
Give him a real close look RDZ this kids going to be a EPL striker
Robertson would be sufficient for 1-2 seasons more here, but that third season out, I have a feeling he is going to stink it out and we'll feel regretful about his contract.I’d say we send Souza to the Bundesliga for 12 months and have Robertson and Udogie while we have one game a week next year.
He needs minutes to learn the game. His linkup play still needs plenty of refinement. Hopefully his goals last year gets him a loan to a team going for promotion in the Champ.Had a very good season at Oxford. Could, hopefully, "could" be ready to step up

10th-12th playing 1 game a week would be awful and i feel de zerbi will be aiming much higher too. Utd just jumped 15th to 3rd and the bournemouths, brightons and sunderlands of this world are playing 3 times a week next year.17th in the Prem the past 2 seasons has been hellacious for me personally. Wasn’t Lindelof part of the Man Utd squad we beat?I imagine you wet your pants laughing when Lindelof signed for Villa.

Anything below 8th is really poor for us imo.
I agree mate, kid needs to play and I hope he turns out great. Hes just not ready right now. I do think gray is ahead of him currently. Wouldnt be surprised to see him loaned to bournemouth as part of the scott deal.

If we farm Berg out on loan next season we will fuck up his ability to be registered as HG.
