Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Probably comes down to whether he's willing to sign a new deal. He has 2 years left on his contract - that's usually the sweet spot for a sale. After that the player has control - can threaten to leave for a free or we might get a crap deal. We've been terrible at selling for ages and need to get better at letting go of players when they still have value. And while Porro can be decent, I don't think he's indispensable or irreplaceable by any means.

Also depends on De Zerbi I guess - does he see him as a key part of the project? If so, can he sell him a dream and get him to re-sign?

I wont argue with that, if he wants to go/doesnt want to extend then we are obliged to get the best deal we can now.

For me, Id like him to stay.

And I dont think Spence is first choice material, so if Porro leaves Id want some real quality brought in

I don't get wanting him to go. He's quality on the ball and perfect for De Zerbis system. One of the very few technical players we've got and you'll be hard pressed to find a rb with similar technical quality this window.

This team already struggles enough with passing the ball, it would be insane to get rid of probably the best passer in the squad.

Instantly muted it :franklol:

Looks decent though. although thats the point with these videos (amazing how many fail at that)

Have you seen much of him?
A couple of games here or there since I get the French league with my streaming package so no expert. But he's clearly a good player already and has potential still to grow even more.

It is not a 1 for 1 comparison but he's kind of a baby Kyle Walker. Decent sized bombing fullback.

Everyone is seriously under appreciating Porro. He's a very good player.

He's a very good attacking full back but he's very suspect defensively.

Strengths and weaknesses.

I'm sort of easy either way on this one but leaning on selling if RDZ thinks it's part of his rebuild.

Also thought Porro's attitude towards the fans was a bit shit earlier in the season.

For me that was entirely on the board for allowing that Frank loser to fester in the job because they didn’t want to admit they got it wrong. The players are only human.

All of a sudden De Zerbi comes in and the players looked up for it, because they believed in what he was saying.

I too would be pissed off with a guy that acted scared of Burnley.
Totally. Not addressing organising subbing and bollocking the people that pay their wages though. Is it little rats to a man. 🐀
