"I'd like to thank David Sullivan and Sam Allardyce for their efforts to secure new players during this window. However, no matter how hard you tried there are people out there that you just can't do business with."

It's not rocket science! Send him on loan to them, pay half his wages, he starts scoring goals for the spammers (he's on loan after all), meanwhile we are double fucked if Kane gets injured. Levy does loads of questionable stuff but this is not one of those things

Imagine us paying someone to fucking score for the spammers, disgusting thought.

According to the Independent
QPR would have paid £60k pw towards his wages & Palace £70k.
Adebayor turned them down because he wanted to go to WHU who only wanted to pay £50k pw of the wages.
It was the worse deal fro Spurs financially & it would have strengthened WHU into the bargain. Let them make do with Carlton Cole.

We never really should have been entertaining loan offers for Adebayor unless we were able to get someone else in on loan as cover. If we were paying him still £40k p/w + Kane's £35-40k & Soldado's £60k it would have been completely stupid. £140k per week and our squad is left with 1 striker and just 1 out of sorts backup. We aren't on the brink of financial meltdown I'd much rather the current £200k per week being spent and having 2 out of sorts strikers, surely having more than 1 spud increases our chances of 1 of them doing something and being an able backup at some point over the next 3-4 months
