depends on your definition of 'Asia'
they're a part of the AFC, so it football terms they are.
But geographically, culturally and politically, they're a mile away from us
Yes its all a patchwork of nations cobbled together!
I like your idea of splitting AFC into 2 parts has merit

You take west, central and south and form a Arabic/Indian confederation. They can come up with some long acronym like Conmebol or concacaf to call it whatever they want
Then you take East and South East and combine it with Oceania to form Asia/Pacific.

Overall the game will be one for the purists,
Korea will defend and play for possession and Australia need an early goal to open it up.
The longer it stays 0-0 the more it will play into Korea's hands.
We need Kruse and Leckie to use their pace down the wings, Davidson and Franjic to support them from the back down the wings too and for Milligan and Jedinak to get up in their faces, press and try to control the tempo in the midfield when we have the ball

Sth Korea is going to be a fuckn brilliant side in 3=4 years time. So much young talent there.

We are hanging onto this final by our finger tips atm. It feels like watching Spurs at time :pochsulk:
