Would it not be nice for a nation of footy lovers to be able to watch all the games together (like virtually every other fucking nation in the world!)? ...I mean, at least rather than awaiting some unlikely degree of success to reluctantly concede a la "if we muuuuust".

Sweeping generalisation.
The majority of English football fans are already happy with what we've achieved, and now like all football fans we just hope and pray that we can pull a rabbit out of the hat. Nobody with an ounce of common sense is actually convinced we will win it.
But because of yours and Vince's wankery I hope we pull it off so you can drown in your own boiling piss

...by the same token, I do not for one minute think the Gareth Southgate 'lookalike' turned up in the England end by accident.... it was +30° out there... you telling me a guy with a vague resemblance to Southgate just decided to turn up in a Waistcoat, Shirt & Tie WITHOUT being sponsored by Paddy Power or a lookalike Agency?? DO me a favour!

I punched it to death before I could draw it accurately. I then used tracing paper.

I tried the same technique on a lion on the holiday I won for the owl thing, but it bit my arm off, and a bit of my knee. I now play walking football.
