Ange should be able to take a team backstopped by Archie Gray and Radu Dragusin, and win top 4 in the premier league. I mean come on, if one of them goes down he has the likes of Yves Bissouma to play CB.

If you can’t win with that lineup you shouldn’t be in the PL. Inexcusable.
Such a stupid post. What is the excuse for the Ramos level results November 2023-November 2024?

The squad hasn't been ravaged by injuries for 13 straight months. And it's better than 11th.

Because the evidence of every manager before and since Poch Is that he won’t be Poch mkII. And Poch didn’t win anything anyway then got fired so why would we want a Poch Mk II?
The evidence is every single manager since Ramos has gotten better results from the squad, regardless of spending on transfers and wages (and most had significantly less than Ange has had).

So why the fuck would we want this fraud for another hour?

1. Lack of a stable consistent starting eleven is disruptive, (but even so the starting eleven has a one or two coach killers or coach killer moments in it).

2. The team is better than 11th. Its somewhere between 6th and 10th.

3. The quality falls off a cliff when the first eleven are not playing

4. For everyone's sake, he needs to go.

I still think Ange could do very well at Spurs, but only if he builds in stages.

But he shown that he won't, he's not prepared to gradually work towards his vision of how the game should be played.

Instead he's tried to do it 100% from day one, without having the players to be able to do it.

It would be best for him and Spurs if he went. Perhaps he'd be good at one of the better Championship sides where he'd have a chance of fielding the best players in that league.

But it's just not working at Spurs and there's nothing to indicate it'll get any better.

I previously said Spurs might as well give him the next window, but I don't see the point now. He's too inflexible.

The injuries have been bad, but the damage caused by them wouldn't have been as bad if he'd have changed his tactics to mitigate for them. Even just something as simple as telling Forster just to hoof it up the park instead of trying to be a sweeper.

My take is we did go longer and were far less intricate at playing from the back, both Forest and Liverpool….. however we still had full backs pressing centrally in the final third which is nuts and that’s how we were sprung on their goal

There are a lot of ties between Spurs and City Football Group. For Postecoglou to get the Man City job he'd have to get Spurs upright by the end of the season (assuming Pep were to leave) or the fans there wouldn't be having it. But he has the ties to City Football Group, having managed the Yokohama Marinos for them and a lot of his system fits with what Guardiola does at City. The biggest obstacles would be if Pep left before the season ended, or took a leave of absence, and the damage that Postecoglou may be doing to his reputation this season with all the "No Plan B" talk. It could happen, but I think it would only be about a 5% chance. Now, if Pep stays for his contract and Postecoglou doesn't implode somewhere along the way it might be a possibility at the end of next season.
I was being sarcastic tbh matey lol.

If you have Gray and Dragusin playing and you don’t change your tactics to allow for that inexperience that’s on you as a manager.

Ange is the one telling everyone he won’t change. He’s too stubborn for his own good.

Like you point out you’re in the premier league man!!! Wise up.

You knew he was inflexible (he has said it often enough) yet you were willing to give him another transfer window, NOW you say he can go, what has changed for you ?

I as many know I wanted him on last November 2023

I just want Marco Silva- practical, dependable, disciplinarian, not going to bitch about not getting enough money, and ultimately gets on with it.

People need to stop wishing for managers that ultimately won’t be happy with our transfer/wage structure.
there’s no one out there that’s going to be happy with that if the expectation from the fans and seemingly the owners is challenging at the top/trophies while playing entertaining football. It’s an impossible job with our wage budget. They shouldn’t be happy if they have anything about them or aren’t just here for the payout.

always liked Silva, he did well at Watford, even Everton when you look back and now at Fulham. He’d probably take the job if offered because it’s a prestigious job and you don’t know how levy sells it but he’d soon get frustrated/hounded out, whatever comes first

Hmm... maybe Levy is working a masterclass here. He's seen the fan expectation is too high after Poch almost winning the league and CL. He's reminding us of our place in the natural order so he can eventually bring in someone who gets us a respectable finish and we're all happy as larry 😂
