I think he's a good fit, especially with the coaches we have employed already.

I think that initial bounce was mostly due to an injection of new players and youth last season. VdV, Udogie, Porro, Maddison, they all contributed heavily in that period. All have either suffered injuries or a serious loss of form ever since.

Where does that 90%+ come from? Last I read in the press was that over 50% still wanted him to stay. And even here only 48.8% definitely want him out, with the remainder either in or unsure.

I like Ange as a person. I actually enjoy his interviews. Think he’s more honest than a lot of managers out there.
I don’t even mind his tactics. I like what he’s trying to do. Does try the odd wee tweak (two left up front for their corners last night), but we need a reset, not tweaks.
But he doesn’t have the players to do it, so should react to this and do something else until he does.
And it’s unforgivable to not have the players hitting the field last night baying for blood.

Look, guys. I've already kind of used to the fact that Ange does not manage team during the game. Just sulks there with weird expression on his face on the sidelines. But today hit a new low for me.
I was watching the game and in first half I felt that - yea, possession-wise, Woolwich was dominating. But we were solid! We did not go pressing in their 3rd, and that was fine, cause we could contain them in our half. On other side we managed to counter them and created few really good chances. OK, we conceded one from the corner (that never should have been corner) and then got carved open when Bissouma lost the ball. But even at 1:2 at half time I was kind of hopeful. We were able to contain them in defense and stinged on the counter. First half time xG - 0,57 for them: 0,36 for us (info from Understat; in some other sources HT xG was even 0,38 to us and 0,33 for them).
Then, enter tactical mastermind of Ange ... took off our midfield (Bissouma and Sarr)... to bring on Madders and Johnson (?!?).
2nd half we were all over the place. Conceded many good chances and did not create anything ourselves. I saw not a single moment from 2nd half that would have made me believe we could get something from it.

Highlighted POOR FIRST HALF PERFORMANCE. And said we improved on the 2nd half ?!? Never been more WTF with him before really.
He really claimed that half where our xG improved by 0,09 while we allowed them to improve their xG by 1,12 was AN IMPROVEMENT? Come on, he is definition of clueless. He could not notice an acceptable playing spell when it hits him into face. And praised the half where Woolwich was clearly the better side. Is he actively trying to get sacked to talk such absolute bullshit?!?

Last night watching our players half heartedly committing to an aggresisve press and watching themArsenal totally dominate us was pathetic and unacceptable. Son and Kulusevski were really useless. How does any manager cope with the lack of testicular fortitude at this club? There is just a horrible inferiority complex. From the first couple of minutes of the game when they press us to fuck and we start panicking, you know we are going to lose.
I actually predicted that we would break the cycle this time, without Saka who usually beats us on his own and no pressure in terms of our league position I figured we would go there, play our football without fear and cause an upset. More fool me.
They really aren't that good but we made them look good. We just capitulated like a bunch of bitches.
I just don't see a way out of it, until we start buying players on big money with ambition, proper footballers that want to win this is what we doomed to be in these big games.
