I dont think it’s likely!

But we have beaten United, City and Liverpool so it’s not exactly impossible.
We are 1-0 up against pool at half time in the tie, still having to go to the graveyard that is Anfield, I wouldn't be going out having all my savings on getting to the final.

Utd were in a bigger mess than us at the time.

We got City at the start of their slump.

Harder to explain Ipswich, Leicester and Everton, not to mention Rangers and Tamworth?
Actually, it's easily explained, he is out of his depth, has been found out and only for he was so likeable at the start fans would have turned a long time ago.

Oh no!! Not the "untimely substitutions"!!! Whatever next?

If you'd read the post properly the guy started off by saying "Poch had his faults". Everyone knows he wasn't perfect. The man thinks lemons are magic ffs. But the fact is he had us in 2nd place with an 86 point season while this chancer has us staring down the barrel of relegation. There are levels to this. Give me lemons and some occasional slow substitutions every day of the fucking week.

Yep. Poch was very good at making half time changes. While we were at Wembley it felt like we were struggling in a lot of games in the first half only to come out after half time and score pretty quickly and then get on top and win games.

Levy will hire what he can get away with, at any given time, based on what it will cost.

The Spurs support were not ready for Nuno when he attempted to pull that off.

It was too soon after the highs under Poch and the expectation under Jose. Nuno looked cheap once Spurs lost a few games and Levy had read the room wrong. When the crowd turned on Levy, after the 10th game under Nuno against United, he went back to Conte.
This is what I disagree with, the idea that Levy's decisions are being driven by the crowd. They aren't.

You're projecting that onto him because you want him to care about what you think, and you want to believe that you have an ability to influence matters at the club.

He doesn't, and you don't.

Naaah, the squad that played yesterday was more than enough to beat Leicester, and probably is good enough to at least compete with most teams outside the top 6. We have a manager issue, and he should be sacked asap, giving opportunity to someone that can use our players to their strenghts and has some tactical awareness.
Exactly.

I find myself so down about Spurs between games, just incessant doom (about Spurs I mean, it's not consuming my life!) and then I see the team sheet on matchday and think to myself, actually, that's not a terrible group of players...

Even with the injuries, we should be comfortable in mid-table, and we'd likely be moaning about that tbf.

To be where we are is utterly shameful, I'm gobsmacked that Levy is sitting there doing nothing about this, he sacked AVB in 5th? Poch in 7th? Sherwood after a 7th (6th?) place finish, Conte in 4th, Redknapp after a 4th place finish...

But 16th is fine? Someone make it make sense!

So women are ok....?
I don't have a problem with women. I have a problem with WSL players being forced into the mens game. The male pundits are bad enough, but women who play a different sport is just tedious. I have more time for the women that aren't ex players. They always seem to be more professional, unbiased and talk more sense.
That's the spirit.

I do note we have beaten Man U home and away this season scoring 7 goals in the process.
Used up our quota then, surely!
1 of those wins was against an end-of-reign ETH. The other was early Amorim who changed his side up. And we very nearly threw away a 3 goal lead.
Take up golf, I always presumed it was an old man sport and a load of shite but I bloody love it now, often play by myself aswell and it’s glorious just being alone for 3/4 hours

Much more enjoyable than going to football for me nowadays
Hate golf. Watching, playing the lot.
Also have stiff neck and back so definitely not gonna be swinging a bat around.

So why weren’t we hamstrung for years by the last time we missed out on Europe? Which was Ange’s first season after we split up with Conte?
Because we still had several good years of financial results before that to prop it up. But that surplus was largely eaten by the year you've brought up. Which would be fine, assuming we returned to normal service. But now that we haven't, we don't have good years behind us to prop us up.

And in terms of PSR, it's a rolling calculation of the previous 3 seasons so, like the UEFA coefficient, once those previous seasons "age out" of the calculation it means fuck all. We're facing a PSR calculation on the horizon which will be composed of the 3 fiscal years with the 3 largest financial losses in club history. Won't be able to spend money, even assuming ENIC had the desire to.

MOTD2 post match analysis is great. A perfect example of how he has hung a player, this time Bentancur, out to dry with his tactics. He is basically a one man midfield as the other two are so far up the pitch and he cant cover the ground in time back and forth across the pitch time and again.

Honestly, he is just so bad of a manager. Something else about how we are set up is highlighted time and again. And if the BBC can do it you can bet every PL club with all their coaching staff and analysists can do too. Hence why everyone keeps beating us!
This is encouraging. Because MOTD2 is the sort of thing that Levy could watch and it could spell it out for him, even if he's too thick to see it with his own eyes.

Hadn't seen the show but will check it out now.

You are so so wrong.

I have known that Daniel Levy doesn't care about me, or anyone else for that matter, since he sacked Martin Jol at half time.

This revealed to me exactly what type of a man Daniel Levy really is.

I try to live my life by a moral code.

I sometimes fail at this but I am aware of the mistakes I have made and I try not to make the same mistake twice.

Daniel Levy is a complete and utter failure as a football club chairman.

He is a successful businessman.

He is also an absolute fucking coward who hides behind everyone else and allows them to take the blame while knowing exactly how much it will cost him to purchase their compliance.

Your remarks suggest a type of admiration for Levy as well as contempt for me; as someone who is prepared to at least attempt to dig this greedy, useless mother fucker out of the club I genuinely love and have supported since I was 7 years old.

Levy definitely prefers supporters like you to supporters like me though.

Well done for your tolerance and compliance with the agenda.

Then we got Europe this year and we’ve gone deep into it, with plenty of home games.

Conte was probably the best coach we have hired under Levy. With any form of backing he would have done more than anyone did or would do.
Insane. But then look into it.

Conte - slagged off the clubs ambition He was right. Also, the chelsea hating fans hated him as much as you think he hated us.
Mourinho - Had been sniffy and unhappy about transfers in public Good. More managers need to speak out against Levy
Nuno - 10th choice and grumpy, fans never wanted him - For good reason. he wasn't right for us even if he is doing well at Forest.
Poch - Fallen out with Levy about the amazon documentry - Think he'd checked out long before then. 17/18 went down the shitter outside of the CL run by Xmas 2017
Ange - Hopeless but a yes man being on best behaviour for a pay out Shocking appointment and even more shocking THIS is the one Levy bucks the trend for. All of the above are better. ALL of them. By miles.

Like all tinpot dictators Levy needs subservience. He needs assassinating.

Sack Ange, sack the next guy, and then, by the time we’re onto our third manager, that’s when our honour will finally be restored. Classic three-step plan.

First step is always the most important.
